While the World Stood Still, a New Babe was Born

While the world stood still and a nasty virus wreaked havoc, killing thousands, decimating economies, and leading to job losses; excitement grew in the blockchain world as we learned that a new blockchain babe would soon be born.

There was hope after all.

Many were already in lockdown, and our draconian lockdown was looming in seven days' time.

We were still reeling from the dreadful saga of the SSSerpent takeover of the old platform, but better days were winking!

20 March 2020 - Hive is born!

Today we are celebrating the third birthday of our beloved Hive, an anniversary those of us who were here from day one, also celebrate.

It soon became clear that Hive was a much friendlier space, guiding and welcoming newcomers, communities were formed, giving birth to spaces that became the perfect fit for everyone. Having a wide range of interests, I in fact have found many new homes, and keep on finding more!

Three years later, our community has grown even stronger, as we mingle with fellow Hive bloggers from all over the world. This is a fascinating place where we meet kindred spirits, and learn how to do the same thing, differently, as we all have our own way of getting things done, depending on where in the world we're from.

Why am I sharing this little power-up on the 20th of all days?
