I am shutting down the 4 week/13 week proposals

As some of you might know, I've made a proposal that should determine where the community stands on the question of changing the absurd 13 week powerdown time.

There is no doubt about that the powerdown time needs to change and 4 weeks, in my opinion, seemed to be the easiest change to do. I didnt consider it the best solution or the most effective one but rather one that can happen most easily.

The reason I am shutting these two proposals down is because I am anticipating @theycallmedan to take a similar path in seeking support for his proposed change by using the proposal system after he collects feedback on his post here .

I personally support his proposed change more than the simple change to 4 weeks, and for sure he has much more influence over the community and other large accounts than I do.

Also, Blocktrades opposing my 4 week proposal means that many witnesses will be afraid to say anything not to lose his witness vote. His support, as the Hive core team member and second largest investor matters greatly.
He seems to be much more supportive of Dans proposal than mine as can be seen from his comment there.
It is very important to have agreement between large investors when it comes to significant changes like this. You do not want any change to be a deal breaker for anyone.
