My first "shipment" of silver came and stuffs

I bought 6, one ounce, .999 fine silver coins (31 grams) from @goldrooster. 2 came today, other 4 will come soon as well. I asked him about selling me some gold for HBD few days ago and he said he only does silver so I have to assume that his name is a lie just like mine. 😅 #silverrooster.

I never bought precious metals before and I have to say that it feels nice. I dont know what it is about these metals but holding it in your hand is different than holding regular coins. The shine is great and it feels like real money. Im not someone that attacks fiat because I feel that fiat does have intrinsic value.
That value isnt in the paper or the image on the currency but on the government stamp of approval on it. Value that is backed by the military power, purchasing power, laws of a nation. That value is forceful, not assigned to the currency in good faith or allowing freedom of choice but is rather compulsory. That in my mind makes it dirty as well as inconstant. Silver, gold, platinum, crypto is not.

My personal goal is getting 1 kilogram of silver coins. Then ill move to gold. Im building a house right now so im not sure how long it will actually take.

That will be a cool series of posts to make here since ill be building the house myself. Ive already built one with my father where our apartments for rent are and we built a room last year for a smaller house we own so im excited to get started. Should look something like this. The layout is pretty much the same. I have a stone plaque idea ready for the house. It will say something like.

With a nice Hive logo to it. And in case Elon Musk tries to do what Justin did, and we fork like we did with Steem, its easy to smash it and make another. Its not like its a tattoo. 😂 haha

Anyways, theres quite a bit of heft to the coins and they are quite large. I know they look small in my hands, but my hands are big and you know what they say about people with big hands.
