Journey to Financial Freedom #2: Things are slowly picking up, More than 15x follower growth

Hello guys it's been over a week since I wrote our first entry for this new series. To cut things short we've really make some progress especially in our short form content in tiktok and youtube shorts. Facebook results were bad and I guess it will take much more time for us to see some action there. Last week was terrible because my laptop broke down and I had no choice but to edit on my phone. This is only for short form content since it's almost impossible to make long ones via mobile, at least in my case. It's still broken and the technician said that the repairs would be costly since it's a motherboard problem. Thankfully, the price of crypto these days are going green so I had some money to buy a new PC with a Ryzen 7 cpu and 2x8gb ram. Davinci resolve runs so well that it's taking me 3-5 times faster to finish outputs compared with my previous laptop.

The tiktok account did so well this past 2 weeks and I was very surprised. My target was only to get 1,000 follows before the month ends so it was quite overwhelming to get such numbers. Last week the views were still under 70,000 but just yesterday it passed the 2 million mark. The comment, share and like ratio are also showing some significant improvement since I've seen people discussing by themselves in some of the videos comment section. The last entry which was a drop in views was from January 28.
With the views the follower count is also showing some great progress. Imagine that just 9 days ago we were still under 500 followers but now we are approaching the 10,000 follower milestone. This is quite important since I've decided to do some monetization options if I ever reached 100k in the distant future. Sponsorships would be ideal but almost impossible so I think being an affiliate for some products would be better. The problem is that most of the products in the tiktok shop is not related to my niche so it would be quite tough to find a cashcow gem.

Our plan is still the same upload a 1-2 videos everyday, interact in the comment as much as possible and check competition every now and then. We were not very popular to begin with so we have to be diligent to reach our goal. For now the goal for the month is already completed since we set it to just 1,000 followers and reaching at least 100,000 views. Next months goal would probably be reaching 25,0000 and 5 million views. It may come true or it may even fail but within the month we have to make sure to stick with our rhythm.

Youtube revitalization progress seems to be positive but it's rather slow. Remember last time we were losing around -2 subs per day. Now we're already on the green since we're gaining an average of 1 sub everyday. It's not much but it's a sign that we are on the right track. I uploaded some long form content but all of them are not gaining traction. It was the shorts that is bringing new viewers. The plan was to make long form content that we can split into short forms killing two birds in one stone. I've noticed that a good number of people now are using the shorts tab rather than the main youtube interface so this plan might keep us alive on both.
