Takes a lot of effort to know where to look at.

Most people tend to believe that doing crypto will help them achieve easy, quick profits, but that's not the case. Nothing great comes easy in life, and the ability to make ends meet without needing an employer sure is a great thing. And while I do agree that by investing in crypto you stand a good chance of escaping the rat race in the long run, it takes effort to know what to do and when to do it.

There's a plethora of information regarding the crypto space and the endless possibilities it offers, and in order to be in a position to filter out the spam and focus on the right projects, one has to spend a lot of time consuming content. Unless we are talking about Bitcoin in 2021 that is, because even those who invested in BTC back in 2010 did a lot of digging to get there.

And guess what, it worked.

Nowadays things are getting out of control. Hundreds of new projects come into existence every day, with scammers always following the money and trying to grab a piece of the pie by exploiting poorly informed individuals who never take the time to do their own due diligence before pouring their hard-earned money into an asset. This makes crypto-hustling a tough hobby, and the fact that thorough research is necessary in order to be in a position to reach safe conclusions means that crypto ain't easy money.

Takes a lot of effort to be in the right place at the right time.

Personally, I've been investing most of my time in my new day job for the past two months, and I am already feeling left behind. I have been missing out on so many crypto-related opportunities these days, and the worst part is that I haven't been able to keep up with all the latest developments in regard to my favourite projects. The space is growing dynamically and the technology behind it all is revolutionary, so there's always something new to learn. In order to be able to catch up, one has to remain wired 24/7.

My point is that the people who managed to make insane profits through their crypto-oriented activities have put in that extra effort, and this can be a long, exhausting process. An outside observer may perceive their success as pure luck, but that's not the case. There's no such thing as easy money, and the cryptocurrency industry is no exception.

Bitcoin is the flagship of the space. Obsolete or not, it is the most trusted network there is, and we all have to deal with it. It is the most respected platform of trust there is in the space, and it will take decades for another asset to dethrone the King. However, for those who are just entering the fray and are looking to transform their lives through their crypto-related activities, Bitcoin may be the train they have missed for good.

Takes a lot of effort to know what to ignore.

However, there's always the chance to enter the next hot project that will enable them to score a 1,000 or 10,000x on their initial investment. But how do you spot such gems in an ocean of useless projects popping up out of nowhere all the damn time? You guessed it, it takes a lot of effort. It takes a lot of digging on a daily basis. One needs to be constantly hungry for more information, and motivated enough to do what it takes to acquire the knowledge that will enable them to know what information to ignore.

This is exactly what the people who invested in BTC back in 2010 did. As a matter of fact, their job was even harder back then, because nobody knew for sure that the crypto space would demonstrate such dramatic growth. It's easier to expect a bull run having witnessed four or five of them than it was to predict the very first one that ever occured. Crypto was never meant to be easy money, and those of you reading these lines have already put in a lot of hard work. Just stick to the plan and you will inevitably reap the reward.

But don't let anyone tell you that your achievements were easy. That's a lie.

I appreciate your attention.

Alright guys, that's it for now. Thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

Just my two cents. This is by no means financial advice. Just sharing my personal views and experiences. Please do not take my word for your investment choices, and always do your own research.
