Getting ready for some good harvests in two weeks' time.

I've already mentioned a couple of times that dCrops is one of my favourite #play2earn games hosted on the Hive blockchain. The game is quite simple, it doesn't take up much of my time, and offers the ability to generate passive income through gathering in-game assets and selling harvested crops for shares.

The game is still in its early stages of development and there is much more to come in the following months. Alpha packs have sold out though, so if you're looking to join, you will either have to buy up cards from the market or wait for the Beta collection to roll out.

Having bought more than 125 Alpha packs for $2 each, I'm planning to keep planting and harvesting in order to capitalize on my early lead.

I've already managed to accumulate nearly 25k CROP for producing and selling goodies for shares, which currently equals approximately $80. I'm stacking and holding all my CROP rewards as they add points to my Holding Rewards, paid daily in $HIVE. Of course I plan to keep doing so.

I am currently holding in-game assets worth 124.2k CROP power, and as a result I receive approximately 0.298 HIVE per day. The game is just getting started though, so we may see these figures significantly increased once more and more people start to join the game. Besides, $HIVE may keep doing its thing and hitting one ATH after another with all the progress being made and all the airdrops planned to take place in the following weeks.

So, Spring season is here, and this time around I've got more seeds than lands. Thankfully, I will have enough time to get them all planted and harvested before the season end.

Such a busy crop factory, isn't it?

This is probably one of the best seasons for me. All farmlands occupied, and another 8 Kale seeds waiting to be planted once it's time for my Broccoli crops to be harvested. In six days from now that is. Could be renting some farmlands this time around, but this feature in particular hasn't been implemented yet.

No need to rush it though, I would prefer to see more in-game functionalities and hopefully some Beta packs as well first.

Spring season breakdown:

The good thing is I own two Legendary seeds for this season, plus I have some Speed-Gro I can use on those. Legendary seeds keep producing till season end, so now is a good time for me to utilize this particular booster and grab as many shares as possible.

I could open my 50 unopened Alpha packs and hope for some more Legendaries, but keeping them unopened adds 100,000 CROP Power to my account, which translates into passive $HIVE income. Good stuff!

I'll just keep them unopened for now.

Please bear in mind that this figure will increase significantly if I get lucky and harvest some 2-star and 3-star quality crops. I'm definitely getting some of those on harvest day one way or another. It's going to be a good season for my farm.

The goal is to keep accumulating 3-star crops and CROP tokens in order to boost my $HIVE earnings while keeping all my NFTs and unopened packs in tact, which will hopefully see some price appreciation in the future.

The play-to-earn industry is gearing up for a spectacular year. It was never easier to generate income from the safety of your home, and things are about to get real in the following months with all the progress being made and all the new users entering the fray.

The Hive blockchain is without a doubt the best candidate when it comes to hosting such applications effortlessly, providing near-instant, feeless transactions. The future looks bright.
