You're missing the point.

I just stumbled upon your well-thought-out thread that has been making headlines over the last 48 hours or so. Excuse me for being late to the party, it's been a very busy week for me. As a result, the return of the almighty co-creator of what's probably the worst shitcoin there will ever be slipped my attention. Thankfully, you disabled direct replies to your tweets, and I kind of felt relieved to see that. All of a sudden, I had the perfect excuse to nod in agreement and move on.

But you know what? I did read the entire thread. Seriously. And the amount of false arguments and logical fallacies stuffed in it gave me no other option but to get my stand-up comedy career started. I apologize and at the same time thank you for that. Now, excuse me for not being smart enough to clone an open-source project myself, but I have a few things to highlight here.

You know how it goes, I will just speak my mind in a respectful manner like you did, and then we can both go about living our lives hoping our paths never cross again.

First of all, how does crypto qualify as an inherently right-wing tool when it guarantees freedom and transparency?

After years of studying it, you still don't understand it. ''Capitalism'', ''wealth'', ''taxes'', it's all about money to you, isn't it? You're basically convinced that the crypto space was meant to be just another means of enabling individuals to get their hands on more dollars, euros or whatever. To you, it all comes down to the amount of banknotes it translates into, when in reality it's all about getting rid of the central banks that start wars for profit.

Mr. Palmer, our goal here is to replace the corrupt central banking system with permissionless, decentralized, fully-transparent public ledgers. The citizens of the world are now provided with the ability to perform borderless transactions in a censorship-resistant way. That's all thanks to crypto, and it's the only system we have built so far that does that. But sure, just don't forget to shut the door behind you.

Welcome to Earth, Mr. Palmer. There will always be bad actors in this world, so better get used to it. It's a cruel place, full of power-hungry, corrupt individuals looking to exploit others. It's always been like that and it's never going to change, because that's human nature. You are describing the human race here, not crypto.

You're also talking about money and profit again and again. You seem to care a lot about the fiat value of crypto, but I'm not really sure whether you ever question the value of fiat money. One Bitcoin is worth one Bitcoin and that's it. That's where we are going. That's the whole point. We certainly have a long way to go to get rid of those banking cartels that steal from the citizens of the world and always get away with their wrongdoings, but I really don't see why we should hate on a good start.

I'm afraid your arguments lack logic, Mr. Palmer. Crypto isn't mandatory. Corruption will always exist in this realm, and the same goes for inequality. None of that has anything to do with crypto. You also seem to have a thing for taxation and regulation. Moreover, you mentioned that you consider crypto an inherently right-wing technology, yet you are talking about lack of regulation and exposure to danger. Sounds like right-wing freedom to me. Does that make sense?

You can't be absolutely safe and absolutely free at the same time, Mr. Palmer. Freedom costs a buck o' five. If you're willing to give up freedom to gain safety, you deserve neither and will lose both.

With lines like these you lose all credibility. What a nonsensical comparison that is! Of course it's your own fault if you lose your savings account password. There's this thing called responsibility. We just can't have good things in life without it. And nobody likes gigachads manipulating markets, but what exactly is the point you're trying to make here? What about central banks manipulating governments? Is this central banking system really a better alternative?

The fact that you gave up on crypto a long time ago comes as no surprise judging by your statements. You clearly do not understand crypto, which explains why you only got involved to create a meme coin just for the lulz. It's not about monetary gains, it's all about freedom. The freedom to receive, hold and send value anywhere, anytime, without needing anyone's permission. This is true freedom. You never even mentioned this word once in your entire thread.

I appreciate your attention.

Alright guys, that's it for now. Thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

Just my two cents. This is by no means financial advice. Just sharing my personal views and experiences. Please do not take my word for your investment choices, and always do your own research.
