Patience is not my cup of tea.

When it comes to holding unopened packs that is.

So today I decided to open my first ten Splinterlands Chaos Legion packs. I had been holding them unopened for a couple of weeks in order to boost my airdrop points and get my hands on as much airdropped SPS as possible, but I just had to go ahead and see what was waiting inside.

Bought most of those on hive-engine, as the amount of Voucher tokens I'm receiving on a daily basis is not enough to grant me access to tens or hundreds of those.

Which is why I'm currently waiting for the general sale in order to add another 150 - 200 Chaos Legion packs to my stack for $4 each.

Not great, not terrible.

I did receive some Rares and a couple gold foils, but unfortunately no Legendaries at all in my first ten packs. Makes sense, as I didn't have that many potions to begin with. Still happy with my loot; I'm currently trying to figure out the best approach regarding the way I will manage my newly acquired NFTs.

I will probably list the majority of those on the rental market and keep the ones that will help me win more battles and climb up the league ladder. Time to make it to Bronze I and bag nine reward chests at the end of the current season without having to rent any cards. Yup, I was late to the party, but I'm steadily building up my account.

The bad thing is I received less than 1,500 power from all those cards combined, which is half the amount of airdrop points I was granted just by holding those packs unopened. Therefore, my daily SPS airdrop amount will decline slightly from tomorrow on.

I will have balanced things within the next 5 days though, as I keep adding roughly 350 DEC to my stack on a daily basis by exchanging my airdropped SPS and Voucher tokens for swap.hive on hive-engine. Small amounts but it all starts to snowball soon enough with persistence.

Another 23 days or ~ 1.2 million packs until the general sale commences, and I can't help but think that those packs will sell out in no time. I bet there are many more users waiting on the sidelines, so I will do my best to acquire enough Credits and be ready for the show.

Planning to use my HBD post rewards to add as much as possible to my Credit stack and be locked and loaded. Until then, I will hopefully keep completing my daily Quests and adding more DEC to my stack by winning battles. Keeping an eye on the rental market over the next few days is on my to do list as well.

Consuming as much content as possible, dropping by some of my favourite discord servers, doing extensive research for fresh, promising projects, and working on my blogs are just a few more of the crypto-related things that have always been and will remain on my list. It's going to be a hectic holiday season, but I'll enjoy it to the fullest.

There's just so much going on on HIVE at the moment, that one needs to remain wired 24/7 in order to be able to keep up with the pace at which people come up with amazing ideas. It sure is a time-consuming side-hustle, but it's all worth it.

Not sure what I'm going to do once Ragnarok goes live. I will probably have to train my body and mind to sleep less. Let's just hope there won't be another bunch of amazing projects popping up out of nowhere in the next couple of weeks (not really).

Growth is inevitable; it's just a matter of time at this point. I don't even have a clue what the market is doing today, too busy building and compounding.

Remember, this is a marathon.
