Again and again.

Those of you who have been following my blog posts here on LeoFinance already know that I have a thing for online poker. This used to be my main source of income for years, and it's still a quite profitable side-hustle for me. As explained in a previous post, at some point I just got tired of wasting my life in front of a computer screen looking at numbers and percentages, but you know what they say, old habits die hard.

And since it's Saturday night, I've got some spare time to steal people's chips... ehmmm I mean play some online poker.

So here I am again:

Bought in for $3.30 and I've already bagged $51.75 in knockout bounties, and another $136.66 in tournament prizes, and all it took was 3 hours and approximately 250 hands. Not great, not terrible.

Just kidding of course, it's great.

Why do I still work for someone else?

My day job pays way less than that and consumes much more than 180 minutes of my time on a daily basis. However, it does give me some sort of fulfillment I can't get in online poker. However, online poker gives me easy money, which I can use to invest in some of my favourite crypto assets. Those 180 something bucks are going straight into the CUB kingdom in a few days from now.

Unless I turn them into $1,000 plus within the course of the weekend that is.

This tournament in particular has been a walk in the park so far. It's a turbo tourney with 5-minute levels, yet the vast majority of my opponents display incredibly small betting ranges.

They are in the wrong place.

These folks don't have a clue what they are doing. I doubt they are making a profit playing online poker. But that works for me.

Not the type to brag though, just feeling that kind of excitement easy money can give you. I've played way more than 1,000,000 real-money hands on PokerStars over the last 10 years or so, so these kids competing against me at the micro stakes do not really stand a chance. Some of you may wonder why I am not taking things to the low or medium stakes since I can handle a poker tourney.

Because noobs.

Well, the answer is that micro stakes are easy money. Plenty of noobs and donors around here, so it's much easier to bag some profits. $200 for 3 hours of fun and relaxation at home is a deal I would take any day of the week. Low risk too. I don't like gambling. I'm a lot more interested in statistical analysis.

Always remember, online poker is addictive and dangerous. If you don't know what you're doing, stay away from it.

I appreciate your attention.

Stay safe and have a good one, @lordneroo
