I know this is not news, but I had to take some time to test things myself, and oh boy I love the new ranked rewards structure. The game is just getting better and better as we move forward, and it's only a matter of time until we witness another massive inflow of new users. I know for a fact that existing users are now spending more time than ever playing the game. Myself included.

Sleep is overrated when you can claim more loot chests, yeah?

What's new?

Well, we now have this thingy called ''reward shares'', which basically changes everything by making it possible for the Splinterlands ecosystem to pay out much more significant rewards across all leagues both on a daily and seasonal basis. The best part is that with the way the team decided to approach things regarding the new mechanics, it is highly likely that we will get a gradual increase in the market value of NFTs.

In case you need the deets, you can check out the official announcement. The team has provided a thorough breakdown of the way things work with the newly implemented changes, so do make sure to drop by in case you haven't already.

This thing is pretty addictive.

I've been stuck in Silver III for quite some time now and I have to admit that the game has been much more profitable since May 31st, when the new system rolled out. I was used to bagging just 2 loot chests as part of my daily quest rewards, but not anymore. With a bit of extra effort, it is now possible for me to score twice as many, or even more if I just decide I don't mind ruining my capture rate.

The same goes for season rewards, as 22 loot chests every 15 days used to be the limit for me. You guessed it, not anymore.

With approximately ten days to go, I have already managed to bag 19 season chests, and it looks like I could easily hit more than 40 chests by the end of this season at the current rate if I just keep going. Which is hands down what I'm planning to do. Currently training my girlfriend to farm DEC and reward shares for me so, it's going to be easier than I was expecting.

The key is to remain consistent and keep building my account. All reward NFTs are used to level up monsters, and anything above 15k Collection Power is rented out in the market, which by the way has been on fire as of late. The last two days of the previous season were insane to say the least, which is something we have always been used to as people have always tried to reach higher leagues before season end.

Battles are tough though.

People around here ain't playing, I'm telling ya. Looks like the lower leagues are getting a lot more competitive as of late; it takes skill and experience to earn Silver chests. The Chaos Legion edition contains some ridiculously powerful monsters and new players now have the chance to build strong decks without having to spend a fortune on Alpha edition NFTs, which perfectly explains why we see more and more dangerous battle mages in the Silver league.

With more than 6.3 million Chaos Legion packs remaining, and considering the current state of the crypto market in general, I think it's safe to assume that we still have at least 6 months before they sell out. However, you just never know in crypto, so grab yours sooner rather than later.

Keep the grind going.

The crypto game is a marathon, and the #play2earn realm is full of amazing opportunities. The Splinterlands team has delivered again and again, and I'm excited about the way they have decided to move forward with the new Rewards System and Validator License Nodes. I know their moves are always well-thought-out, I know they will deliver again, and I also know the market won't keep bleeding forever.

I see a bright future ahead.
