It has been an impressive time we all had collecting daily SPS airdrop bounties in Splinterlands. Everyone tried their best to invest in accumulating points to maximize the airdrop earnings.

So far we have enjoyed this fantastic journey which just ended a few days ago as planned. Many players are quite gloomy about airdrop's end, but now there are new updates to expect soon regarding the SPS token and its new rewarding journey for the players.

SPS VALUE IN THE MARKET

Despite the completion of the SPS airdrop phase, we don't see much appreciation in the price of SPS and trading volume, although it can be forecasted the slightest chance that there will be a bit of a rise once the SPS governance era starts. Right now it is floating up and down between $0.06 and $0.055.

SPS REWARDS FOR BATTLES AND BRAWLS

According to the recent Town Hall Summary, there will be SPS rewards instead of DEC rewards for Guild Brawls and it is also rumored that usual Battle rewards will also be shifted to SPS tokens from DEC. Guild Brawls will receive 2.5M SPS share per month and a 1% reduction will occur each month for 65 months.

These SPS rewards might go directly into staking and would not be available as the liquid rewards for players according to Monster Maverick Show. To obtain these rewards regularly players may opt for an un-staking schedule or keep them growing while having staking rewards as usual.

After the 3rd biggest chunk of 400,000,000 SPS diluted in the market in airdrop rewards, we are expecting another big chunk of 30% to enter the market as "Play to Earn" 900,000,000 SPS rewards for the players during the 65-month long period. Also, we already have nice daily 'staking rewards' in place to earn with a variable yearly yield through SPS staking.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE PROGRESS

Right now my account has a worth of around $59 in card assets, I feel uneasy about this, as I have observed that there is a regular decrease in the card prices.

I have spent like $50 on packs and $10 on the Spell Book, maybe more, and in return, I have not even reached the breakeven on the investments. Other than that I have purchased many cards from the market worth $10.

The battle rewards are not providing much value at the moments in the Bronze league, so I tried some rental purchases as well, but bots are ruining everything and my battle win rate is not that rewarding as well.

SPS AIRDROP REPORT: My investment in SPS airdrop has a significant amount invested in HIVE:DEC pool, DEC tokens, packs, and cards.

I have earned around 94 SPS through airdrop and earned some 8 SPS more via staked SPS tokens. As per the current price of SPS tokens in the market, 94 SPS nearly equals $5.5. Which seems a good return in a short investment term.

CHAOS LEGION PACKS OPENING: I opened 5 more packs recently and got some epic and rare cards in them. Watch the video and see what I received from those packs.

I consider 2 valuable cards and the rest are just adding some collection power in general. Hunter Jarx (epic) and Disintegrator cards are what I had been looking for some time to buy, but it is nice to them in 5 packs.

SEASON REWARDS: After a long arduous fight with the new battle system, I was able to collect some 21 chests in the Bronze-I league.

I obtained 21 chests, but it took a lot of time and so many battles to win. Somehow, this is what I have as my assets, Vulguine is a good card that I think has a low drop rate in the chests.

FUTURE PLANS

I haven't much to say here, but I have 2 plans to progress further, 1) I will try to join a guild, and 2) I have to reach the Silver league by achieving 1700 more CP towards it.

If the current battle system provides more value to the game in terms of keeping the bots at bay, I'll look forward to engaging more investment in the game, especially in the SPS governance system.

That's it for now, I hope you'll enjoy the post and give your valuable feedback soon.
