The recent tax changes snuck into the last stimulus bill which bring the total amount someone needs to earn through a payment processor for that processor to submit a 1099 from $20k a year to $600 a year is a disgusting attack on Americans entrepreneurial ability and the most recent demonstration why we need cryptocurrency to not get completely bent over by by groups like the IRS and US Federal Government.

Hundreds of millions of small-time crafters, content creators, and even just basic collectors are going to be getting audited next year due to this massive change to 1099s. This "bailout" is one of the largest attacks on poor folks ability to start the kind of projects that result in social mobility in our lifetimes. Meanwhile a large portion of the Fortune 500 will again pay nothing in taxes this year.
