Just go to LeoThreads, post a microblog entry (similar to what you do at D.Buzz), and in the entry include the tag for your community.

I will visit the hashtag #gmfrens thanks for the tip.
Some hashtags are generated by bot activity. Others are generated by one person (such as #XLSref). Then there are hashtags used by many people (such as #LPUD and #lpud recently).

LeoThreads is part of the Leoverse of dApps, and LEO is its token. It's been online since Summer 2022, and in recent weeks activity has picked up.
As a general topics microblogging platform, virtually all topics are welcome (except for the usual in the fine print).
People from communities across Hive are welcome to use LeoThreads to spread the word about their activities, and just thread about whatever they want (including cat pics and food photos).
What happened to to rewards of this post?
This is supposed to be a public service announcement, so it seemed wrong to make money from it. That's why I decided to decline payout for this particular post.

It's too late now. That post and all the properties associated with it-- including payout-- are recorded on the blockchain.
On top of that, I published that post 11 days ago. No more payout even if I wanted one. The post still appears as "Promoted" because I paid 1000 Ecency Points for 14 days of promotion.
Surely leothreads is only for crypto and finance. How can it help any unrelated community? They'd get downvoted for tag abuse no?
LeoFinance-- the front-end for long form posts-- is only for crypto and finance. That has not changed.
Even though LeoThreads is accessed via LeoFinance, LeoThreads itself allows for microblogging. As a microblogging platform, LeoThreads allows virtually any topic.
Think of LeoThreads as the loophole to publishing general topics at LeoFinance.
LeoThreads microblogs made using LeoThreads will be displayed by LeoThreads and other front-ends.
LeoThreads microblogs using other front-ends will not be displayed by LeoThreads.
