Ethereum reached its All Time High of 2018!

Finally here we are! After almost 3 years of hard HODLing we can announce it and celebrate together! Ethereum reached its All Time High!

Since the beginning of this year Ethereum has recorded a rapid surge, from $720 at the beginning of 2021 to $1,270 in just over a week. We assisted to a price correction to $900 before rising demand started to push the price up again.

In a thread of 3 days ago, I drew attention to the scarcity of Ethereum reserves in the main exchanges, indicating that if the demand stayed at those levels we could expect a surge in the price of Ethereum. And so it was: the trading volumes have remained very high: in the last 24 hours about 40 billion USD have been traded in Ether.

The rising price has also pushed up the market capitalization of Ether, which now weighs $159 billion, about 23% of the market size of Bitcoin.
