As an emerging community with a prime focus on financial content, I would say that the most important thing to us is ”traffic” It’s a difficult task for one person to grow the numbers to millions in page visits and users, but it’s not so most of a hassle when there’s a community as big as leo to handle it. I became more interested in Leo when @leoglossary was introduced to the system, this is specifically because I love the idea of content creation, and when it’s done the right, it’s just amazing to behold.

That said, every project needs a user-retention program, this is specifically what keeps the network expanding. The stronger the structures this is built on, the better the long-term picture looks. On hive as a whole, there’s one most important thing and that’s making money, if a platform is able to offer a medium to earn, regardless of markets and seasons, it most likely stands out amongst its competitors. This is what I see with leofinance, some time back I had the idea of building a website and starting my own finance blog with more focus on crypto, considering that it’s currently a great niche judging from its userbase and public interest.

But then, with @leoglossary coming to life, I decided to stick to my hive blog and grow it on Leo, this is how I got here officially.

With that said, what are my actual suggestions, and what benefits are they?

Restructuring LeoAds revenue distributiong

Building a robust value distribution network begins with giving everyone a fair chance. When money becomes a factor to hit higher-earning chances then the system really isn’t built fair. Why is this? Few have that weight of a pocket to compete, but there”s something everyone has, that’s the time!

There’s currently no crypto platform that truly converts time into value, but Leo can, with these suggestions.

As previously stated by @khaleelkazi, Leo ads revenue is about $4,000 if I’m not mistaken. This figure is great, just enough to get people interested in earning it for themselves, but when you look at a whole lot of things, people are not likely to chase this because of the fear of getting less due to so many large accounts ahead, this makes it unattractive to small investors which limits the expansion of the network.

Incentivize Traffic Builders

With all analysis, paying people for building an active audience is a crazy idea that might just work. I would point out that this idea may require the dedication of 70% of the revenue, and we will have the craziest traffic in no time. HOW?

I love the idea of having my post pop up on google search results, this was one content I wrote with no actual intentions but just to jump in on the conversations surrounding Solana. If you search “Is Solana dead?” on google, you will see this post among the first few results, I do not know of other search engines, but google is our focus anyways. This is what people usually demand when a project goes down, they ask google questions and if you’ve published content in response, Google will recommend your post. This is so far the most crawled content I have published, it generates the most traffic compared to all my posts.

This traffic is good for Leo as it would bring potential investors and also add to the ads revenue. My suggestion is that, instead of allocating all ad revenue to reward stakeholders, 70% of that revenue should be pledged to authors that bring the most traffic to the site. '

Why do I think this will add great value to the community?

Let’s start with basic math. 70% of $4,000 is $2,800. Now., let’s say I work my ass out and succeeded in bringing in 20% of Leo traffic. With $2,800 on the desk, that would mean I’m getting roughly $560. Now, out of that amount, 10% will be charged to fund fundamental structures of the project such as site hosting and domain renewal. This leaves me with $504 as a reward for my hard work.

This would actually mean traffic builders earn 60%, 25% is flowing into stakeholders' pockets, 5% could be allocated for buybacks and burn and the 10% charge on traffic revenue earners can be used for all things project developments. The rewards going to these content creators should't have to be paid in leo, because that would somehow create an avenue to dump on the market, instead, it could be paid in stablecoin like HBD, which I would expect most of those values to flow back into Leo, creating a pump, where a dump would have been observed.

The reason why this is such a big deal is that people won’t just sit and watch me win that much, it’s a lot of money in a bearish market this cold. And while some may see the numbers going to stakeholders and project developments being small, here’s something to change your mind.

When you create more ways for content creators to earn, you're one more step into growing your community and economy. This would be very bullish for Leo as it would have more content creators competing for ad revenue, it would up the numbers on daily posting and engagement, and couple that with the ever-green content that will flow in, leo would gain more google traffic and so, inevitably, that would mean more ad revenue, making the pie a lot bigger which leads to the same effect, having more people interested, we may even begin to gain the attention of content creators around the world, this would also put Leo in a position of bringing more people to hive.

Leo threads would add to this expansion, and for people who do more comments than posting, writing an ever-green comment is also a thing! Using keywords, asking and answering key questions all earn traffic. This space is built uniquely, you can always share your comment links on socials like Twitter to earn more page visits.

I imagine a situation where the site revenues hit millions of dollars, we would basically have the most active community in the world with an enormous economy because the workforce is there to create value. I also expect most of this value paid out to flow back into leo. This is just my little suggestion, I'm curious to hear from the community, so I’d appreciate a reblog to reach more people, thanks, and see you at the top.
