I hope you all are enjoying this festive season and the year end with your loved ones and also competing with all your blood and sweat into this amazing #nft game splinterlands. If you are unaware, right now we are only 2 days and 19 hours away from the current season end and having only a little time left, I guess you are battling well and collecting as many season reward chests as possible.
Brawl talk
If you are well aware about all the basics of this game, you know that now brawl has become a sound source of earning in the game and incentivising heavily to brawl players based upon their guild Performance. I am also actively playing brawls for quite some time now and our clan, The Neoxian Guild is also performing very well back to back. In the last brawl, we secured the first place by a good margin and gifted with perks and SPS. The guild won 197 crowns for being Top in the leaderboard and every member who participated in the brawl got rewarded with 487+ SPS and 11,257 merits! Yes, this clearly shows why you should level up your assets and earn way more as you keep growing.
It is clear that with the creation of account bounded brawl-only gladius card was a huge success for the game and very encouraging for even small players to upgrade their guild and start playing brawls. With those merits that we get from playing brawls and also from daily and season reward chests can be used to buy gladius packs from guild store where every gladius pack costs 2000 dec. Till now, These gladius cards can only be used in brawl matches but as I read in previous town hall game update posts, they are talking talking about more use cases for these cards.
However, as I went to check my merit count today, I found out that I have saved over 22,000 merits in my guild wallet so without wasting anymore time, I went to the guild shop and bought 11 gladius cases and ran towards the mana well to open them up. I used the multiple option and opened all of them at once and shared the outcome below.
As you can see from the screenshots above, I got pretty lucky with the openings and pulled a gold foil rare brawl card Kotriphus Bayne along with 2 epics, 9 rares and 18 common cards from those 11 gladius packs. In my last pull, I received some epics too including 2 Quora Nightshades and gladly in this one I received multiple epics too which definitely will boost upgrading my gladius cards.
Staking 100% GLX
GLX is the token of an upcoming NFT game which will be launching soon in hive blockchain. This game is based on football and before the launch, they are distributing their tokens vis airdrop to splinterlands players who has staked SPS in their accounts. The amount of GLX you get daily from airdrop depends upon your total SPS stake amount. We can also stake this GLX token for another GLGT token and more GLX tokens as staking rewards. During the initial days, the price of GLX were very high so I used to sell GLX for hive but now as it’s price have gone much down, I am staking all my airdrop GLX into staking also restaking all the reward I am earning there. I am almost close to 1k staked now with a current staked amount of 956.107 GLX and also have collected 19.662 GLGT from as staking rewards.
Season Progress
For me, my goal for every season is to reach into the champ tier and to collect a good number of season chests before the season timeout. This time as well, I have successfully reached into Champ III with a current trophy count of 3,898 trophies and safely away from the Champ threshold of 3,700 trophies. Looking at season chest count, I have only collected 43 so far but with another almost 2 and a half days in hand, I think I can play and collect another 4-6 trophies easily within the given time limit. For today’s Focus mission, I got the Healing Rule as my mission and completed the focus by collecting a whooping 11 reward chests. As I already moved into champ league yesterday before this focus started, all these 11 chests would be counted as champion level chests. As it’s my first champ focus, I am very much excited to see what presents they have for me waiting. So, without further ado, let’s open them up while experiencing the thrill.
If you leave that gold foil common card blood maker aside, no one can’t tell if it’s a champ tier or gold tier focus rewards but it is what it is. Apart from that gold Foil, I only got 4 rares and 1 common card, 384 merits, a little less than 13 SPS and of course a bunch of 63 legendary potions, Well, I will be keep fighting and collecting more of them and wish I get happy soon.
