Buying some Gold foils while the dip lasts
Greeting my fellow hivers,
I hope all of you are having an awesome weekend with your friends and family and also enjoying this game in meantime as well. Well, it feels like only a little time has passed but actually we have come to the middle of this ongoing season already. Yes, we are currently playing the 102nd ranked PVP season and only about 8 days left for this one ms timer to hit zero. So, fasten your seatbelt’s and prepare for the upcoming bloodbath my fellow warriors!
Season Progress
Now, looking at my season progress, I decided to recharge my ECR up to a healthy state and thus, I haven’t played for much today. I got the Dragon ruleset as my daily focus mission today and finished the mission by collecting only 7 reward chests which is by far the lowest count in this season. Looking at season chests count, till now I have been able to collect only 31 season reward chests do far, which is only a little above than half of my season goal, so I guess have to take care for it in the next following day and increase the total count to at least 40+. Now, without further ado, let me share my daily focus chests outcome at below.
As you can see from the screenshots above, this time the focus rewards was higher than average as with only 7 reward chests, I pulled an epic card and around 10.5 SPS along with 2 other common cards and of course, a bunch of legendary potions. But anyways, I am happy with the reward outcome this time. After I reach to the top Champ tier and start collecting focus chests there, I hope to pull better rewards than diamond league, but to achieve it I still need almost another 200 trophies which is no doubt a hard task at this point.
Splinter Shopping
Well, the dip season is here and I believe it will be here with us for some time now. Almost every known coins and projects had hit hard with this strong negative sentiment and we have already passed some months in this downtrend. But we Hive people are known to be strong against dip season and being an OG, I personally know many persons here who survived the last or even multiple dips before that. So I know for a fact that the bad time will go away one day and the strong believers and holders will earn way more than those who got scared, sold their portfolio and took an exit. This is the mechanism in every market and only some wins from the losing of many others.
In this dip, my main focus is to increase my splinterlands card holding as more as possible and I am currently working on gold foil max reward cards and trying to bag them one by one as they are selling for dirt cheap right now. In my previous posts, I have already shared my collection of gold foil reward cards where I showed that I have bought all the latest edition common type reward cards and made them max level already. But, I was mistaken as I still have one common card left to be maxed, the Pelacor Deceiver so I will try to buy it soon. However, after taking care of all the rest cards, I decided to collect the epic reward cards for now and gladly, with my latest shopping I have bought and made 3 max level gold foil epic reward cards which I am about to share below.
Djinn Renova
The first card that I chose to buy and make a gold foil max level is none other than the Djinn Renova. This monster belongs to the Life splinter and it is a magic attacker card that costs 7 mana to be used in battles. As I went checking it’s latest price in the card market, I saw that in order to make a max level of 10 cards, the price would be only 23.132$ or 40,048 dec. So, without thinking much I just bought all the 10 BCX and upgraded them into a max level. I made the purchase through the monstermarket.io website as usual and got the instant 3% cashback as 1,201.45 dec into my HE account.
Uraeus
Thou this amazing card is still selling for a way higher price than the other epic gold foil cards, I decided to buy the Uraeus monster anyway, as it is one of my favourite monster because of it’s sneak ability. As I searched in the current market, I would have to spent a total of 39.169$ or 67,196.774 dec in order to buy a max level 10 BCX of this card. And I took the decision and made the purchase and this time, I got rewarded with 1,935.4 dec as cashback.
Lava Launcher
The last reward card that I bought today is the Lava Launcher and I often use this card in high mana ruleset matches when using fire splinter. By the way, after buying those cards above, I have only a limited Dec left and as I checked, the max level of this gold foil card would cost me 23.035$ or 39,517.927 dec which was only a little below than the money I have left. But anyways, I crossed my fingers and made the purchase and finally repainted my deck with some more gold foil cards. Oh.. this time also I didn't miss the return gift from monstermarket.io and received 1,185.538 Dec as my instant cashback.
