What’s up my fellow Splinterlands warriors!

I hope all of you are spending a fantastic day with your friends and loved ones, but on the other hand, the last Splinterlands season just got ended and I hope by now, most of you have claimed and collected your season loot chests.

For me, this time I was able to finish the season while in Champ II tier. And I successfully collected a total of 76 chests from the Season loot chests. But I am thinking to make a dedicated post for reward openings and other stuffs tomorrow as today, I will be showcasing another old untamed monsters that literally helped grow my trophy count today while battling in Champ. So.. let’s move on!

MANTOID

Mantoid is a Common type Monster card that belongs to the Neutral splinter. It costs only 6 mana to join any battle and it’s attack type is ranged. This monster equips two abilities on its life cycle. This high powered Ranged attacker monster needs 400 common cards to reach the maximum level. It has 2 ranged power from the beginning stage but at max level, it hold 4 range attack with sniper and Snare ability.

BRONZE

On level 3, this monster increases its speed from 2 to 3. Besides, it has 6 health and 2 ranged power along with Snipe ability. This monster needs a total 14 common cards to reach this position.

SILVER

On level five, this monster increases its ranged power from 2 to 3 along with 6 health, 3 speed and Snipe ability. This monster needs a total 60 common cards to be upgraded to this stage.

GOLD

This monster needs 220 Common cards to step up at level 8, and on this level, this monster increases its speed from 3 to 4 and Health from 6 to 7. Also, it equips another extra ability of Snare along with the Snipe ability.

DIAMOND/CHAMP

To reach the maximum level, this monster needs a total 400 common cards. After reaching the max level, this monster increases its power from 3 to 4 and speed from 4 to 5 along with 7 health and 2 abilities.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT MANTOID

  • The first thing I love about this monster is it’s Sniper mode that helps me to battle against ranged and magic monsters at backline positions.

  • Next best thing about Mantoid is it’s Snare ability. This ability makes this card a pure anti-flyer as whenever this card targets an enemy with flying ability, it cannot misses it’s attack and also it snatches away the flying ability from that monster

  • The next big thing is it’s Speed that helps me to attack ranged and magic monsters faster and also destroy their flying ability with the snare.

MARKET STAT

It's a Common Cards so obviously the price is generally lower compared to other edition cards. But the price of 1 bcx of this card is surprisingly around $1 which indicates that this monster is very need-able for everyone. And if you want to buy the max level of this card then you have to pay just $163 {according to current market price}, so if you interested in this monster than hurry and capture the golden opportunity.

Battle Line-up

Battle Link: Click here

Unprotected - No monsters can have shields in this match ruleset.

MAGNOR

At the the very first position I placed this big Melee defender monster and it needs 10 mana to recruit this giant in battles. It has 6 melee attack at 3 speed and 15 health along with Taunt, Enrage, Trample and Return fire ability.

CORNEALUS

At the second position of my lineup, I placed this gigantic Ranged monster which has 4 attack power at 3 speed and 12 health along with Heal, Thorns, Return fire and Magic Reflect ability. It also needs 10 mana to join any battle.

SCAVO CHEMIST

At the third position, I placed this non-attacker monster to clean out all negative effects from my Magnor. It has 6 health and 5 speed along with Cleanse, Slow and Headwinds ability.

MOLTEN ASH GOLEM

This monster needs 6 mana to join any battle and I placed this monster at the fourth position. This monster has 3 ranged power, 2 speed, 10 health along with Close Range, Weaken, Demoralize ability.

MANTOID

At the Fifth position of my lineup, I placed this main Monster so that it stays protected. I have already discussed about it above so lets move forward..

IFRIT RISING

On the very last position, I placed this legendary Magic monster which has 3 magic power at 3 speed and 4 health along with Recharge and Forcefield ability. This monster’s Forcefield helps me block Sand Worm attacks and also its Recharge ability helps me killing down even the largest beasts.

BATTLE BEGINS

ROUND 1

On the first round, after got the all abilities and disabilities, the Opponent's Monster Djinn Oshannus hit the first strike towards my Magnor. After that enemy Axemaster damaged my Magnor and also got back reverse damage by Return Fire ability twice the time. After that, my main Monster Mantoid damaged enemy front monster and also the second position monster. But it also got damaged by return fire from Baakjira. My Magnor destroyed the enemy front monster and also the Baakjira with it’s trample. The Enemy monster Ruler Of The Seas destroyed my Magnor next and also my Cornealus but got damaged back by return fire ability. After that, my Molten Ash Golem damaged enemy Wave Brood along with Axemaster. But it also got damaged back by their return fire. After that, the enemy monster Wave Brood damaged my Cornealus and also got the reverse damage by the return fire.

ROUND 2

As the second round begins, again the enemy Djinn hit the first strike towards my Cornealus and got damaged back by return fire. After that, the Mantoid damaged the enemy Wave Brood and also destroyed The Axemaster, but also got damaged back by Axemaster, And enemy Wave Brood destroyed my main Monster Mantoid. After that, the enemy monster Ruler Of The Seas damaged my Cornealus and Scavo, but also got damaged by the Magic Reflect and was with only 1 health remaining. After that, my Legendary Magic monster destroyed both the enemy Monsters Wave Brood And Ruler Of The Seas. On my enemy deck, now there was only one monster Djinn left. My Molten Ash Golem hit that enemy monster and got damaged back again.

ROUND 3

On the third round, the enemy Djinn Oshannus damaged my Cornealus and got damaged back again by the return fire. But later, This time my molten ash Golem missed it's attack.

ROUND 4

As fourth round begins, the Enemy monster Djinn Oshannus strikes first time again on this round also and got damaged by Cornealus. Djinn Oshannus had only 3 health left after getting hit. This time my Legendary Magic monster missed his attack towards Djinn Oshannus, But my Ash Golem destroyed enemy monster next this time with its Ranged power. And I won the Match without losing more than 3 monster!

It was really a fantastic big mana limit match and as you can see, both of our lineups were filled with mostly max level monsters. This time my opponent chose the purely anti Zaku summoner and on almost every turn, My ranged minsters were getting hit by the return fire damages from all those enemy monsters. But still, my monsters somehow managed their way out and scored me another victory. It was indeed a great match of ZAKU VS. DEEPSWIMMER but this time.. Zaku got able to hold it’s ground!

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
