You know, like that dolar-cost thing sometimes smart people sometimes do but in a crazier fashion. Gimme a crazy thing to adopt and there I be...Like me coming to the blockchain in the first place.

Although...

I tend to be inconsistent sometimes...changing my mind and strategy...trying new things...wildly experimenting.

At a cost for myself, only. This last part is important and this is why I would like to throw a disclaimer here:

This content is not any kind of financial or behavioral advice. It's just sharing my opinions and moods. Do your own research when you invest and do not go in with what you cannot afford to lose.

So, I say Hive Cost Averaging since there is a partially logical peg of SIM, dCity's native currency token, to Hive because of two things — You can buy the same random (out of a certain pool of variety) NFT in-game asset...for both currencies at fixed prices.

So, if there's demand for those, if people have the same desire to buy new buildings, balance should be maintained.

Which is currently not the case.

I need another reason why SIM should be measured in/worth some Hive.

And here is my second makeshift peg:

Daily rewards for high population. This last thing would be achieved through spending some serious resources on building that population up. And I would say...a lot of resources. SIM or Hive — technically, it's your choice which but not much of a choice now.

So, with that not absolutely satisfactory makeshift margin of safety AND with me being lucky enough to be in the top 50 again, hence that predictable income...

I am able to jump on the train full of people waiting for the new expansion set of the game, A.K.A. 3rd edition, I am willing to buy some cheap SIM which I can later utilize or sell, depending on what happens.

Seven more days for that to happen, and seven days for me to Hive Cost Average it all. I can do it for about that long and some more but not...double.

The time is...soon. Some pivotal time for the dCity game I think.

Here's another disclaimer:

I shouldn't write those when I am so sleepy.

Peace!

Manol
