Today it has been a historic day for the HIVE blockchain. HIVE peaked at 20:31 EST at a value of US$ 3.41 after starting the day at US$ 1.74, an increase of almost 100%. As of now, HIVE is trading at US$ 2.78 after probably many people taking some profits and selling.

What has caused the rise in value? There are intrinsic reasons that give value to the HIVE blockchain such as

• The number of dapps in the ecosystem, which is a rich and diversified array of options
• The community of people who use the blockchain truly believe in it.
• The high speed and affordability of the transactions.

But what happened today? Why is there a huge amount of money flowing into the token? I have not found an answer, if someone knows something, please include in the comments
