Supermarkets, department stores, restaurant and hotel chains. The S group even has a bank of its own these days. The S and K (Kesko) groups use the franchising model in supermarkets. The stores are owned by individuals while logistics and procurement are handled by the co-operative. The profits made by the co-operatives are distributed to loyalty card carrying customers.
