The first day of Vouchers for the pre sale Chaos Legion packs have begun. The demand for Vouchers are astonishing to me...

The max price going for a single voucher currently is at 38 Hives. That is right at current price of Hive it is estimated peak price of a voucher in $USD is close to $28.50. This does not include the $4 required in crypto to purchase a pack. This means someone has spent over $32 to purchase a pre sale pack of Chaos Legions.

To elaborate on the FOMO going on the Chaos Legions cards have yet to be introduced. Furthermore any packs purchased today and the remainder of the pre sale will remain unopened until the series official release which has yet to be provided with a set date.

Hold, Sell, Use Vouchers?

This is not financial advice but just my own opinion. Take it for entertainment purposes only. In the almost three years of playing this game I have not seen this much pent up demand for a new pre sale Splinterlands asset. Not even close. Just from this perspective it is leading me to believe the current buying and using of vouchers is players FOMO into the buying frenzy.

There will at the end of the series distribution a total of 15 million packs sold. That is more than 5 times the combined previous series of cards. Repeat combined alpha, beta, and untamed and multiple those sets by 5 and still not as many cards that would be sold in Chaos Legions. The potential of the price of the new cards to be sustainable has yet to be seen. There is more than 5 times the amount of players today than in past year so maybe the demand will be able to support such prices. Yet this is just anyone's best guess.

On the flip side there is current proof that demand for new cards and its price rises are sustainable. For example Chaos Legions reward cards that have been distributing for more than a month have all cards risen in price since its introduction. This rise in price on the back that they are printed more than past series and base value of the cards are less in value than past series. Bottom line the demand for cards are there when it came to the new reward cards and prices have only been rising since.

Holding onto the vouchers is another form of risk here. It maybe a good one considering Aggroed had recently mentioned that the vouchers can be assumed to be the highest form of value of asset in the Splinterlands game. "Highest" caught my attention since I had thought land and totems where way up there in value. Now to say that potentially the vouchers can be worth even more? Who would not want to hold on to their earned vouchers? The definition for being highest in value has not been defined though so it would be a risk if the highest form of value is interpreted differently by Aggroed versus what we all are assuming it means?

Strategies to Earning More Vouchers

There are 30 days in total for vouchers air drop and it is based on the amount of SPS a player stakes versus the total amount of SPS staked. Splintercards.com has a estimate calculator to compute what a player's daily air drop of Vouchers would be.

At current numbers each 1000 SPS staked will equate to about 0.23 Vouchers and for a total of 30 days the player collects approximately 6 vouchers.

The eye catching point here is SPS stakes will dictate how much you earn in vouchers. The more SPS staked the more vouchers air dropped to you. The daily amount of vouchers air drop will remain the same through out 30 days, where each day 33,333 vouchers are given out.

There are multiple ways to earn SPS. Either accumulate more collectors points to increase your SPS daily air drop. Or straight out buy SPS tokens directly through exchanges or Hive-Engine. Another way is to stake current amount of SPS to earn more SPS as current APR is still hovering over 60%.

Vouchers whether are overpriced or not is still increasing the net worth of holders. The vouchers have some form of value to them and there is no argument that having more is better. The questions though is how much are the vouchers worth in the long run and how to maximize one's opportunity in earning the most vouchers in what is now a 29 day left of air drop.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!
