Splinterlands - Max Decks Fire Sale?
We talked a lot about how cryptocurrency prices have fallen a lot lately but there is one bright spot to all this drop. The nft markets have also fallen in price. Splinterlands is no exception. Yet this maybe an ideal time to purchase cards due to the price drops.
Chaos Legions Max Set
For slightly over $5k one can own a full max regular set of Chaos Legions cards. This is extremely cost effective considering any other printed max set is over five figures in price.
To prove how extreme this sale is the past six months a Chaos max set has only fallen 50%. This is not to say it will stop but it has held up its value pretty well. In addition owning the cards earlier meant players were able to utilize the cards to earn rewards or rent the cards for passive income. So in a way it reduces the overall cost of the cards in the long run.
Considering a collection power for the set is a little over 332k it is likely the best bang for the buck for collection power on any print set of cards. Furthermore the set will include pretty much a full range of cards to play from summoners to monsters.
Chaos Legions Rewards
If we talk about the most cost effective cards in terms of $ / collection power there is no other than Chaos Legions rewards. The collection as a whole currently is only $221 which includes all the new rewards cards that started printing just a few weeks ago. In total a staggering 105,900 collection points for just a little over $200 is truly a bargain.
However the reward cards do not come with summoners so its more of a supplement of cards to be used with other sets instead of being its own stand alone. In any regards its still a great bargain now than ever before.
Just look at those legendaries and tell me its not a bargain to obtain for a set. There is just a lot of other great cards in the set.
From epics to rares there are plenty of good options to use in battles. There is a whole variety of cards to buy and hold.
Conclusions
In my opinion this is an extremely great time to be investing in Splinterlands cards as the newest cards are at prices I have not seen this low before. A sign that there may not likely be further drop in price is the demand for chaos packs.
Straight from Hive-engine where open market for Chaos packs are being sold the price is hovering close to $2 each. This is where the face value of the packs are selling at in game. With demand for packs running at steady price it is not going to be long for the individual cards to rise in price. This is all my opinion alone and as time progresses I have added more cards to my collection. You do not have to take my word for it. You can just see proof from the prices people are willing to spend on these cards to know what is a too good of a deal to pass up.
