Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use the Deeplurker!

Ruleset

Only Water monsters are allowed in battle. Mana is capped at 38.

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Deeplurker is a Water Monster, I began by choosing my Water summoner. I picked, Alric Stormbringer- a powerful Fire Summoner! Alric is at level 4 and adds an attack stat to each melee monster!!

The oldest ΛZMΛRÉan Summoner, Alric Stormbringer, founded the modern arts of Chaos Magic. He has many pupils from around the Splinterlands. Alric’s gift is not so much bringing the storm, but channeling it. He has lived for hundreds of years, and some stories claim he was alive before the Splintering.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

My Monster Lineup

In my tank position, I chose The Kraken! This card has great stats all around, especially Health! It's everything you want in a tank! it also has the taunt ability which makes it even better! All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to).

Flying Squid followed. This card has some pretty good stats, and his reach ability allowed it to attack from this position. I never use this card, but from now on, I think I'll use it more.

I then chose, Deeplurker. This card’s stats are pretty impressive! I didn't have this card so I had to buy it off the market. I was glad I did! This card also has the opportunity ability. Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

Albatross was chosen to be in the fourth position. This card was chosen to be a sacrificial decoy! This card Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

Sea Genie was fifth. He has Ok stats and This card Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability. He is also a magic monster so his attack is boosted!

Crustacean King anchored the team. I chose this card mainly for ability. It has Tank Heal! Tank Heal Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round. It is my favorite ability!

My battle went 6 rounds, and I only lost 2 monsters. I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
