I've been following @taskmaster4450le for quite some time and watching his videos, I have to admit I haven't been able to watch all of them but I try to get around to as many as I can. He's an active user and I like to support active people. There are also a number of others that I spend time on reading and upvoting and supporting.

I especially like his posts about the very real and emerging online world, regardless if it's through VR or Web.3 these are all important subjects and topics to discuss.

The rise of automation is another important topic that we need to keep an eye out for, how do we ensure life gets easier for people, because that's what automation is. But also retains an equal opportunity for wealth so people can live and purchase their necessities.

I remember hearing about fortnite and if I was a little younger or even if I had enough time that's exactly where I'd be, online gaming.

But Fortnite went a little further and hosted online music festivals with known artists. Fantastic! I thought it was a great initiative, something new and something that hasn't been done before especially with an online shoot and kill game. It's a great game and yes I have played it.

But we have to delve a little deeper to see it's economical impacts. An online VR concert removes all your stage hands and a crap load of front line workers even health staff. Ain't no one able to OD at a VR music festival, will people still take drugs at home? Safer for everyone else but are they receiving visual support to receive first aid if something happens?

Still don't know what to be when you grow up? Be a Dev! The new age will need alot more Devs then the world currently has and their in prime location to be budded for.

A lot of the lower paid jobs are completely wiped and associated businesses like stage set up crews and truck drivers. But sound and tech guys are still needed, devs are most likely going to be the main focus point. Their ability to write code and the better they are at it will ensure the success of an online event. I'd anticipate this sector to grow massively.

It's the new Maths of our century, more important than English itself. It is it's own language and we're already seeing devs in other countries get recruited with no English skills required. It will he up to the business recruiting to learn the native tongue of the Dev. If not it risks missing out on massive international talent.

Coding is something I will be advising my kids to learn basics in as many of you know I am a little tech illiterate which compared to a Boomer I am highly skilled. I was the generation that grew up with tech but it has quickly evolved to beyond my capacity.

The future economy will be pinned or pegged to technology and to remain employable and accessible to wealth it won't be Excel and Word experience employers are looking for but coding and advanced tech skills.

Are you one of the lucky ones who got into tech early and learned coding? Let us know if you are and how it has changed your life.
