The year is 2010 and Bitcoin is still new, a lonely investor buys 100 Bitcoin for $1 or manages to mine 100 Bitcoins with a GPU.

There they sit of just over a decade, collecting dust and drawing a close eye from Bitcoin enthusiasts. Are these coins lost? Has the person thrown out their hard drive or lost their keys?

Or perhaps it is a wallet belonging to the person no one knows Satoshi Nakamoto. The biggest question on everyone's lips is if the legend still holds bitcoin or did he sell out many years ago?

Todays market worth

100 Bitcoins in 2010 were only worth $US100 but at today's prices it's around the $US5,000,000. No small amount and with it comes a great power to take a market, any market.

It's the stuff of legends, a dream come true for many cryptocurrancy enthusiasts. Buying in at $1 and becoming a multimillionaire.

So what happened to the 100 Bitcoins?

Not much as yet except the epic HODLer moved the bitcoins into two separate wallets and not much else as yet. The world.is.watching and waiting though.
