Branding is a core marketing strategy by any company or business it helps define your products amongst others and also creates trust which leads to sales revenue.
Which is why there are laws typically in place to prevent people from using other people's business names. But one of the oldest tricks in the book is mimicking other people's successful brands.

Which makes this next news story even more hilarious as an NFT company recently established a company called JPG Morgan which can be seen Here and the entire crypto sector fell for it believing that it was the global banking firm JP Morgan.
Even Coindesk reported on it and now their NFTs are selling in excess of 300 Ethereum.

To be completely honest people who fall for this kind of marketing aren't particularly worthy of playing in crypto. It also provides a stark reminder on why it is important to undertake proper research and if you can't pay for that advice.
