Definitely, I have a more detailed post in the pipeline. Prior to posting this, I had worked on an even more detailed post only to realize in the end that it got too much technical and difficult to understand. Also as you have mentioned I agree how things could go wrong. Vitalik himself admits how bad it could end up for the entire crypto space. With the merge right around the corner the best we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope transition to eth 2 is smooth.
