This might seem like a duh moment for some, but for me, it just got confirmed. Why? Well, because things are playing out almost exactly as they did last time. Bitcoin dominance is starting to slip.

Top is not in, but

You see, a lot of people are waiting for bitcoin to hit 100k, 250k, or some crazy number of that nature. It could happen, of course, I don't have a magic crystal ball, but unlike years ago, I tend to be more objective about the evidence.

I try not to bore people with TA and I will keep things simple to digest. Bitcoin seems to be reversing. The price has began the shift downwards, giving us a lower high point and a lower low.

What does this mean? Well, it can mean two things: 1) Bear market is here or 2) Alt Season is here.

I guess, you wonder why I'm saying it's alt season then, How do I know?

Total Marketcap

That is what I'm looking at. I think realistically we might hit 2 trillion in total marketcap before this bull cycle is bust. Of course, again, I could be wrong and it's up to you to do your own research here.

If however, I see a reversal in the total marketcap along with a BTC downtrend, then it will signal to me, it's time to get out of my positions. At least the ones I'm just speculating with.

Watch LTC go crazy next

Ethereum has already taken off, and I'm fully aware that it's not very logical for it do be doing so. More so because GAS prices, transacting in ethereum, at this point is not possible. Again, I'm reminded of how irrational these markets can be.

My hope is that LTC takes off next, possibly hitting the 1K before we can see the smaller tokens, such as HIVE taking off.
