TUTORIAL FOR SENDING SWAP.HIVE TO HIVE KEYCHAIN AND MAKE IT INTO HIVE POWER

Hello everyone,

I'm here today to make a tutorial for sending your swap.hive to hive keychain with a few easy steps.

What is Hive Power or HP?

  • To easily understands, Hive Power or HP is mostly used for Posting blogs, comments, upvotes, or used by playing games like Splinterlands, almost all the transaction you do under the Hive Blockchain are being affected by Hive Power.

Is it worth it to Power up you Hive Account?

  • If you are going to stay longer on the blockchain and planning to use your account to it's full extent like Gaming, Blogs, Trades, Upvotes then my answer is "YES".
  • If you don't plan to use it to the other things that I mention on the upper part, and you mostly use it for just a simple game and don't grind to much, then you don't need to, and you can just skip this whole process, but I catch your curiosity then stay and read it till the end of the topic.

OK so let's get this started!

So for this tutorial I will be using Tribaldex just click Here or go type it manually if you don't trust the link HA HA HA tribaldex.com to send our SWAP.HIVE and to power up our keychain,

Once you reach the website, you have to Login your account with the swap.hive token or if you just wanna check it just go ahead and do your thing.

The Login button would be here marked with RED BOX, so just click it and use your hive keychain for authorization.

Ok so for the next step, click the WITHDRAW button on the middle, It is marked as RED BOX again on this picture, so you guy's won't get lost ๐Ÿ˜

and then after you clicked the withdraw button, this window will pop-up. sometimes other browsers block all kinds of pop-up so make sure you allow the pop-ups for this website.

now some of you might get a little confused on this one, and as you can see this is a withdrawal and it will ask for withdrawal address. but fear not just click "PLEASE SELECT A TOKEN" and then Poof your In Game Name will be at the withdrawal address see the picture below.

Now we are in these part where you put the balance of the SWAP.HIVE that you want to send to your hive keychain, and as for this tutorial I would be putting all my SWAP.HIVE into my HIVE KEYCHAIN.

And so if you will do the same as mine, then all you need to do is CLICK numbers below CURRENT SWAP.HIVE BALANCE and then it will show you like this.

there is a 1% fee for the transaction every time you move your hive from you hive keychain to your hive-engine wallet. but don't worry about that because it is only a 1% fee and it is also a way for us to help the developers, and for the developers also to keep on improving the blockchain ( simplified explanation )

just think of it like this, you ask someone to buy you things, and he or she do it very fast, so for the effort of the person who do it for you of course you give them some TIPS to show them that you appreciate their work. (so for all the rich people out there. I always accept TIPS) hahaha jokes aside let us continue.

so after you click the Withdraw Swap.Hive it will be gone to your wallet, and don't worry just give it a few minutes and it would be like this.
