I know the FOMO within you. So I will just say it plain and simple.

5. You should have already stopped following idiots

We all love new projects and get excited about the newest fade and watch the prices of our crypto holding skyrocket. Some of us bought doge coin for less than a penny and then sold every time some idiot tweeted on twitter. It was fun but that kind of speculation goes nowhere. Don't believe the hype.

For years I searched about how to make some extra money online. My interests changed from coding to writing and designing and I subscribed to so many email lists that I am flooded with junk mail of telling me that I can learn the secret to writing with a free webinar. That I can now make $1000,000 without a product and without a service now. Just watch the webinar. It's free...

I do my best to unsubscribe and not go back to these people.

4. You should have already learned to say "no".

There is an expression in Korean "귀가 얇다" (gui-ga yalb-ta). It literally means "thin ears". Practically speaking it means a person who listens to everybody and changes with the breeze. If he hears about a new offer he is there. If he hears that it is healthy to sit up straight he will buy the new sit up straight chair.

Everyone has a new deal for you and it is the opportunity of a life time. Well did you ever think about why they asked you, a complete stranger. There are thousands of people in our close circle of friends. Why would we go looking for a totally unknown person half way around the world to help us?

If you don't know what it is and you are not really qualified or experience then it is usually best to politely say, "no". Or as they say in the crypto world "DYOR" - Do your own research.

3. You should have already found what you love.

This really helps you get rid of a lot of garbage. We try to keep everything thinking we can go back one day and use it but it usually is garbage to be thrown away. There are so many things we are just not cut out for. Not everybody is a singer or an artist or a math professor or a programmer. I want to do all of them but I have to take a minute and find what I really love and concentrate there.

I really love to teach and I need to focus on my inner heart and read and I love to draw and write stories. If necessary I can make songs for class but that's not really what I love. It's just something I like to do. If I have time at the end of the day then I will try to make songs and videos but that's not what I love.

2. You should have already found someone to share what you love.

You are going to need at least one person who really gets you. At first my wife clashed a lot about my writing and especially about crypto but over time she is becoming a fan of Kiki and Koko. No one really does completely understand me but my oldest son has sort of an idea.

On Hive I found some people who are really cool but there is a limit of how far the written word can go. Actually there is really just one person who supported me from the beginning to now. Also there are several new friends I met on Proof of Brain who I can share what I love with. I'm glad about that.

1. You should have already taken a break.

Don't give up so easily. Instead take a break. Write a literal note reminding yourself what you wanted to do and then step away and come back later. I love to take breaks. Sorry if that means it is a couple days before I get back to my messages.

I had a great break at the Seoul Grand Park over the weekend. We wanted to see the Red Pandas but they were sleeping. That was a bummer but we found a couple animals that were still awake. That crazy goat plays the drums. These animals watch people all day and they pick up interesting habits. For me the zoo is refreshing. It reminds me of when I grew up and the time I spent in the zoo talking with animals. Maybe I'm crazy but then again,

"Have you even tried?"

I'm just kidding, kid. Get to work^^
