There were 5 little piggies.

This little piggy went to the market. This little piggy stayed home. This little piggy ate roast beef. This little piggy had none.

And this little piggy went,

"Wha, wha wha!"

all the way home.

So which little piggy are we?

This little piggy can be found at me.me

The missing toe

Today "Proof of Brain" POB is a token traded peer to peer on Hive-engine for users of Hive. Everyone who owns POB is looking forward to the day they can exchange directly on markets like ionomy, probit or even binance and others.

That would be awesome, but how? Basically a token must be irresistible. That means that the token has a clear mission, development and PR team. If POB goes to the market prematurely it will become like that missing toe.

POBs identity

What is proof of brain?
On Hive communities it is listed as:

A general topic community built around PoB technology and the POB token

Description POB is a pure 100% Proof of Brain (PoB) token meaning that the only way the token enters circulation is through PoB rewards that are earned by posting and by curating content with POB staked. 1 token has been issued to @proofofbrainio to enable staking. There will be no more POB tokens issued except through PoB rewards. Like Bitcoin mining, rewards decrease by 50% every 4 years. There are no proof of mining or proof of stake rewards. There will be no tokens issued to a founder or a team. There is a 10% beneficiary percentage when posting on proofofbrain.io. Funds from the beneficiary rewards will be used to maintain proofofbrain.io.

The whitepaper says essentially the same thing

The Brain

An experiment of decentralization has grown into a community of brains. The brain has become the brand of the community.

No one can deny it. My kids see me writing on this blog and they say, "Dad's doing the brain thing again." They love the brain and at this point the brain is one thing AI doesn't have yet.

We are not just one brain but a community of brains. Each in his or her respective field is a brain. Together we bring insight into the daily challenges and problems of life. Through interactions in a social media platform we are able to share information and help each other in practical daily and professional problems.

Today we are doing this through daily challenge posts like POBtalk and PAC and random thought and POB Street, the community interacts and helps each other. This is where brains connect.

Applications

As we grow as a community we will find resources to help each other grow such as applications and uses. As those applications and uses develop I will see more reason to branch off into independence and go into the market.

As of now I don't see much in the plans of development or usage of POB. It's a fun place to be and that may be enough to keep POB alive, but if POB is to grow then necessary infrastructure and incentives will have to be put in place. Those advances take time and money.

I'd love to see an easy to use interface that I could quickly add pictures or short video from my cell phone and not have to wait for the block chain to verify everything before I move on to the next thing action button. If the brain could figure out how to put the blockchain work in the background and just give users a fun UI then I think we are in business.

Resources

The biggest resource I see here is the community itself. I hear opinions and stories from around the world. They are each special and are worth hearing and there is more. When I post, the community will give feedback and input about my thoughts and daily business. I'm not just talking to myself or getting some upvotes, I am getting reasonable feedback on stuff I write on Proof of Brain. Honestly this is the first time I got this kind of feedback since I started blogging four years ago.

I don't feel like the only way to get attention is to write about how much my Leo Cubs put out. I can talk about what's happening at school. I can draw a silly picture. I can write a fiction story and somebody in POB will always make a reasonable comment. Not just, "nice post" but they will think about it and try to add something constructive. When it sucks they will tell me. In all my time posting on POB I have never seen a tumble weed roll by or heard silence and crickets chirping in the background. There is always some noise. It's a really exciting place to be.

POB is robust with more than a thousand users from different walks of life all over the world. They have a dream that anybody who has a brain has a voice on POB. If they don't give up on that dream then they will prosper. No technology or application can compete with this dream. If community members just want to go off to some big exchange and run the price up I think they can do that, but that's not the goal of POB and it may do more harm than good.

The best way for Proof of Brain to kick ass is to do what it is supposed to do, be brains and prove it!!

As we prove our brain then the community grows and the uses and applications will come.
And the moral of the story is:

"Sell outs lose toes."
