The bull run took a breather in the early hours of today as the market turns red, 60 billion dollars have been wiped off the weeks gains but word on the street has it that this is only a healthy correction based on the historical bull run of 2017 and if history repeats itself, there will be more like this on the way.

I wasn't aware of the crypto world in 2017, so for me this is an experiment I'm paying close attention to should this be another defining moment for the future.

A lot of newbies are sure to panic sell at this point, giving the big buyers an opportunity to buy more, a vicious cycle. However, perhaps the bull run has really been blown over and the this dip is only but a tiny minuscule version of the many dips to come, only time will tell. Anyway, while this all plays out, what is my position? These are few things I'm paying close attention to.

  • The public sentiment to this dip - Most crypto heads on twitter are still currently screaming buy the dip, yeah I should too, but I'm out of FIAT, been out of FIAT even before the start of the bull run and I haven't taken any profits, so.

  • The depth of this dip - This is the first major dip In this 2020/2021 bull run, its recorded with a magnitude between 20-30% decline in prices. Will it go further down? How long will recovery take if there is one? These are things I'm paying close attention to.

  • Lastly, according to history, there were a couple of similar dips that happened consecutively on the way to 20k. I'm watching to see if history repeats itself, if it does or doesn't, I'll be taking note for the future.

Welcome to crypto where weak hands do no good, at the worst, they sell off at the wrongest time. Anyway before you hit that sell button, ask yourself again, why are you here? Buy the dip maybe?

Thanks for reading.
