Finally, the long awaited “Land rewards” is here, if you’re a Land owner/Landlord on Splinterlands, you’re now entitled to rewards in $SPS token. But to receive your $SPS, your Land must be in game. This is how to transfer your PLOT from Hive engine to inside the game.

Steps

-1- Log in to Hive-engine/Tribal dex with Hive Keychain. Open the wallet section and navigate to PLOT. Click on the transfer arrow.

-2- Transfer to “steemmonsters” without memo

-3- Go to your Splinterlands dashboard, click on the purse-like button in the inventory.

Your Land should be sitting pretty there. Now you can start receiving SPS rewards for being a Landlord 🤭 Land owner.

And if you want to send it back to Hive engine/tribal dex then you’d hit the option right beside it and select tokenize.

I had to make this post because I spent a lot of time looking for how to do it myself, I’d anticipated this for the longest time, it was becoming quite frustrating that others were getting theirs but I wasn’t getting mine. So I’m pretty sure one or two other people like me would need it.

Also, word on the street has it that the rewards are dropped once everyday, I’m not sure about the time though, so if you’ve just transferred yours you shouldn’t worry about not receiving anything. I’m not also sure about the amount to be received, perhaps we would see more information on these from the official announcement of Land rewards.

And so, this is one step in the right direction. Next up is the ability to claim and reveal Lands, scheduled to happen by the end of the year. So fingers crossed, I expect Lands to be a revolutionary addition to the game and by this I expect land and land ownership on the platform to become very popular as it’ll be high on utility.
