Consider what it must be like being a shareholder in Berkshire Hathaway the fund run by Warren Buffet?

This is one of the richest people in the world and he has made fortunes for his shareholders over the years but probably missed the opportunity of a lifetime by rejecting #cryptocurrency in the form of #bitcoin.

When a new technology comes along the old guard are at first amused by it's 'stupidity' and dismiss it out of hand. Once this technology starts to get a little bit of traction they ridicule it and put it down to maintain their dominance.

Eventually they find themselves out of the game looking in and realise that they have backed themselves into a corner with no way out without losing face.

All that's left is to attack and any rat when cornered will attack.

Buffet has cost his shareholders multiple billions of dollars by his misunderstanding of these new technologies. He still maintains that all crypto is worthless because he doesn't realise that his opinion is just that...His opinion.

A lot of people have decided that crypto is legitimately a variant of money. It's just the latest iteration of a tool that can be used as a medium of exchange.

Those of us who have been in this space for a while can sometimes forget that the vast majority of people are still in the Buffet mindset and cannot conceive of what we take for granted.

We are busy building the new world while they see their world slipping away.

We have our own tokens and exchanges that cannot be controlled by any other organisation or government. Think about that for a minute. Everything we need we build.

Buffet and his colleagues must be crapping their pants with inflation eating away at their fiat investments?

One year of hyperinflation and they all go broke.

I wouldn't want to be a shareholder in any fiat based investment right now.
