Apple from Oranges when buying coins
Its been carboot day in England and you have to think quick on your feet when buying a job lot of coins on a field in windy and some what weather like today, i did a quick tot up of what was in the box and figured it was worth the £20 i paid.
When buying off another stall i usually have a quick look as if you put a box down someone will buy it, to figure out if it is worth it i look for a pattern of what is in the box and a quick check to see if there is any silver.
I have separated the better coins from the lower value and on my initial look i spotted 7 silver coins so i couldn't get my wallet out quicker as it was a no brainer, there was a mix of USA silver quarters and dimes, canadian silver dimes, a beautiful Italian silver 5 Lira and i few bits of other european silver.
Here is the other coins what where in the tub, these are lower value but still are sellable, all said it was a good buy but buying off a quick look can be risky but today it has paid off.
