When buying anything you need to know the price of what your buying, this was another buy from Sunday.

These are not ordinary 50p coins but sterling silver proof ones with fine enamelled fronts.

The weight of these coins is only 8 grams but hold a huge premium.

When buying a collectable like this you need weigh up several things like the subject matter, these hold fond memories being Beatrix Potter so will hold a greater value but what you really need to look at is the mintage numbers on anything like this as supply and demand is the corner stone of any market.
