Overall guild performance

Our guild, Splinter Skulls, did freaking awesome in this brawl. We got the top spot with a record of 57 wins, 21 losses, and 1 draw. From this performance, we got x28 CROWNS, and each participating member got a whopping 1,292 Merits! It was definitely a fulfilling match, especially now that we are more motivated to perform well because of the Gladius cases that we can buy with higher merits earned.

Battle frays: where did I participate?

After joining the Untamed fray last time, I decided to move back to my favorite fray: Novice Alpha/Beta frays. I still prefer this fray over the others because of the simplicity that this fray has. I'll likely continue to choose this fray to participate on, as long as my guildmates don't mind that!

For this brawl, I was lucky enough that I still have my rentals for my Silver grind when I was playing this match. The only card that I had to rent for this specific brawl at more than 5 DEC/day was Selenia Sky. Good thing that rental paid off!

Mozzie's performance and battles highlight

That was a pretty fun brawl. I managed to end with a clean record of 7-0. Out of those 7 wins, 1 was flee and 6 were actually win. That's a decent record if you ask me.

It also became more fulfilling because I was one of the last few ones who submitted their battles in our guild. When I was placing my battles, we were ranked second (it was already close so there was luckily margin for error) in this brawl. So there was an added pressure while placing my battles, which eventually turned into fulfillment as I saw our Guild's ranking moved up after the battles were submitted.

21 points and 1,292 merits in this brawl!

Among these matches, the closest fight for me was against SoulReapers (not included in the screenshot), which were also our closest competitor in this brawl. I'll talk more about that below!

I won't deny it, that felt great!

As mentioned earlier, the closest match for me in this brawl was Battle #6: the fight between Alric and Selenia. Aside from it being a close fight, there was an added intensity because we are the guilds that are fighting for the top spot in this brawl!

Anyway, after I saw the team placement of my enemy, I was still unsure of what will happen to the match. If Frost Giant and Air Elemental don't miss any attack, I am for sure doomed as my Spirit of the Forest will be useless in the frontline, I would be relying on Earthquake to do its magic by then.

Luckily, Frost Giant kept on missing against Chromatic Dragon. All thanks to that 45% miss chance (20% speed difference + 25% flying). This let Spirit of the Forest finish all of my enemy's backline by the end of Round 2. After that, the Spirit helped Chromatic Dragon in killing Frost Giant. With a bit of help from the Earthquake ruleset, my monsters were finally able to kill Frost Giant by Round 3.

There you have it! Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience in this guild brawl.
