How to BUY and SELL Splinterlands CARD PACKS in LEODEX

After selling some Vouchers in our previous post, it is now time for us to learn how to Buy and Sell Chaos Legion packs (or any Splinterlands packs) in LeoDex. If you are interested in buying other Splinterlands card packs, don't you worry. The steps are very similar, feel free to follow along in this walkthrough!

Buying Card Packs in LeoDex

Step 1: Login to Leodex and go to Market

First, go to LeoDex website and click on the Market tab that can be found on the upper part of your screen.

Step 2: Look for the card pack that you want to buy

Now that we are in the market interface, click on the dropdown menu and look for the pack that you want to buy. For this example, let us assume that you are planning to buy a Chaos Legion pack.

Note: These are the tickers for various Splinterlands packs: ALPHA, BETA, ORB, UNTAMED, SLDICE, CHAOS.

Step 3: Set your buying price and confirm transaction

After searching for the card pack that you want to buy, the next step is now placing a Buy order. To place your buy order, simply fill out the price and quantity that you want to buy (see red rectangle in the image below) and click on Buy.

If you want to check the corresponding USD value of the current market price, you can easily do it by checking the Bid, Ask, and Last in the top-most part of the chart. I have indicated it with white lines in the above image for your reference.

Tip: If you don't want to wait for a seller to match your buying price, you can simply match the lowest value in the Ask side of the board (see red arrow).

Step 4: Transfer packs to your in-game account

Assuming that your Buy order already got a match, it is now time to transfer those packs into your Splinterlands account!

In the Splinterlands in-game interface, click on the Open tab that can be found in the upper left corner of the screen.

Next, click on the Convert icon (indicated by red arrow in the image below) for the card pack that you bought. In this example, we will be choosing the Chaos Legion pack.

Step 5: Fill out the quantity & deposit

Now for the remaining steps, click on the dropdown icon (indicated by the red arrow) and choose Hive Engine. After that, fill out the quantity of packs (red rectangle) that you want to deposit into your account.

After that, click on Deposit then confirm your transaction.

Once your transaction is complete, you can now see a quantity increase in the specific pack that you bought. For us, here is an example of a x1 increase in Chaos Legion pack.

Selling Card Packs in LeoDex

When selling packs in LeoDex, a lot of the steps are similar to buying packs. The only difference is you would have to do some of it in reverse. For this part, we will do a step-by-step walkthrough on Selling cards packs, but we will only be illustrating the steps that are different.

Step 1: Click on Open in Splinterlands, click convert, then Tokenize

Similar to what we have previously did, click on the Open tab and click on Convert button for the card pack that you want to sell. For illustration, kindly refer to Step 4 in the Buying portion of this walkthrough.

After that, the Convert packs interface will pop-up as shown below.

Choose again Hive Engine on the dropdown portion, and fill out the quantity of packs that you want to sell. Now, what you want to do is click on TOKENIZE instead of Deposit.

Step 2: Confirm transaction

After clicking on Tokenize, a confirmation pop-up will show.

Click on "Ok" to proceed with the transaction.

Step 3: Go to LeoDex market and place sell order

After that, our next step is to go to LeoDex market and search for the ticker of the pack that we want to sell. For illustration, kindly refer to Steps 1 & 2 in the Buying packs section.

In this case, we are selling a Chaos Legion pack.

Next, fill out the Sell CHAOS portion in LeoDex, as shown in the image below. As you can see, we want to sell our ` CHAOS pack for 19.99 HIVE. After filling out the necessary details, click SELL to proceed with the transaction.

Note: This screenshot is from the 2nd day of Voucher drop.

Similar to the buying portion, if you want your selling transaction to be completed right away, simply match the highest bid in the "Buy Orders" part.

Open order for CHAOS

If you opted to wait for someone to buy at your specified price, you will be able to see an Open Order in your screen similar to the one shown above. You can easily adjust your selling price by ticking the white box of your order, clicking Cancel, and redoing the Sell order step with an adjusted price.

There you have it! You can now Buy and Sell any Splinterlands packs easily through LeoDex.
