Twitter to Introduce Ads -Free Subscription Tier : Elon musk
In an attempt to raise revenue and increase demand on the premium services of Twitter, the CEO of Twitter by name Elon musk has made a big move to actualize that by putting things in place to introduce an advertisement free version in it's subscriptions.
The Tesla chief executive tweeted: “There will be a higher priced subscription that allows zero ads.” Twitter relaunched its premium offering for the second time under Musk in December, offering users perks including verified account status for $8 (£6.50) a month on the web or $11 a month for iPhone and Android phone users.source
Taking this to a different stage of actualization, the Tesla chief executive believes that the hike in subscription revenue is an important part in the business handling and interplay as regards to the social media platform. Can't be taken for less as since he takes over as the CEO of Twitter, the social media app has taken a brand new shape with so many changes initiated.
Could this be considered a positive out look to the company and it's investors at large judging from the point of view since he took over Twitter as the owner in October 2022 as according to reports back then in 2021 before he took over, almost the entire revenue Twitter had was from advertisement because there were much subscribers following the free use and convenient of the app for advertisement.

The Tesla chief executive acknowledging the fact that it's obvious enough that since he took over the twitter app there has been much decline in subscription paid for advertisement and that irrespective of that ads were seen much in the app that he being on the route to deal with that.
Musk aims to reduce Twitter’s dependency on advertising as payment looms for an interest payment on the $13bn of debt he loaded on the company as part of the takeover. According to reports, Twitter is due to make a quarterly payment of $300m this month, potentially as soon as this weeksource
A shift of dependency on an already known means of earning and survival of a platform normally has alot to say in such platform as it shakes it, the Tesla understanding this but then likened Twitter to be a "plane that is headed towards the ground at high speed with the engines on fire and the controls don’t work”, this been linked to understanding Twitter to be on a set of being bankrupt as it looks like things aren't going the same he planed as before or there is a shake on it.
