We all know that I think most everything should be placed on social media. Just like blockchain, we place our money there through the help of the internet. Yes, it did too many processes before it was accepted. Like any other thing in this world, it should be approved by many people. When it was approved it meant that a lot of people were already convinced of this type of money.

What are NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens?

To be able to understand clearly let's start with Bitcoin and etherium that are digital assets that are also known as fungible tokens. Though these tokens can be interchangeable. NFTs don't have that or it's more accurate if we call it that can't be replicated. It's like you own that digital art with the supporting codes to disallow other people from copying it. They may copy that art but the identity of that art that you only provide will only be yours.

I know this seems very confusing what is NFTs. I am still a little bit confused but to be more understandable let's put it this way. NFT means a form of art that can only be seen in the digital world and not in the real world. Either it's formed of music, photo, painting or whatsoever. Anything can be an NFT if that certain something will be created digitally.

Let's say, for example, I have a photo here and actually I just created my very first NFT because of my curiosity to make one. You can see below the code of that NFT of mine.

So this photo has become an NFT now. With a unique code that created a site from opensea.io. I created it for free and as you can see if I'm going to sell it for a certain amount. If ever people might be interested and buy it. Forget the price of selling NFT, if you think that gives so much value why sell it? What if it has so many memories and you don't want to lose it. Just like blockchain, everything that is already in the chain will stay forever. It means to say that you don't need to worry if the image you have will be lost since you stored it already in the digital world.

A brief and clear explanation. NFT is a digital type of belonging of yours that you want to sell in the marketplace of the chain. It's you only who can decide how much the price is because it's yours. Everything that you own that you'll make into digital will be called NFT. The token will just serve as the value but the name of that thing is NFT.
