For my curation on LEO, it is not about how long it is but about how the post is constructed. It can be short and concise, but it should be well-crafted. Of course, it should also be somewhat relevant to LEO.

I do make some exceptions for people talking about their progress on HIVE and LEO. As I believe those people should be encouraged to stay around.

Engagement of a post is not a priority for me, as some shitposts garner a lot of it. But, I do consider it if I already decided to curate a post.
