Yes unfortunately these are situations where the crypto community is light years behind. For example and i wrote in a thread i believe just this week that there were only 2 projects in cryptocurrency that i felt were the most important and that it was paramount these areas of crypto have our attention.
One such area was decentralized ai for reasons even far beyond just mega companies owning it.. Decentralization of super ai is important to our very existence forget about classes and who deserves what. A super ai can be the difference between having edges over our national security in teh technology race. So its important on many levels.
The other was of course ubi. The problem is in the ownership capacity of such ideas whether you just tax land or you tax the ai systems and production and transactions as they occur. You'd still create a similar outcome of the system paying its fair share but also balancing the problem of the govt system has taxed 100 men in personal income taxes to do work they no longer have the jobs to do. Now the ai robotics system does the same job where does the wealth go.. well it goes back to the company in control of the system as you said they'd have the resources to produce these things.. However they haven't comparably given the same in value as the human worker.
So my point is they'd need to be still taxed anyway at the level of production society no longer collects or that wouldn't be fair to human workers . .what about all the years the human worker had to pay the tax.
The problem with the space is it doesn't focus on real use cases and solutions which it needs to be doing to be seen as useful to the public. So even when we mention the most important projects in crypto well these projects.. decentralized ai systems and ubi that works hand and hand with that because you sitll need a solution what to do with all the displaced workers and its not just about displacement ubi is needed for other reasons in our technological future. We got to see some of that with covid 19. Unless as it seemed far right people were fine with people just dying out and continuing on they used no scientic reasoning in many of their statements but they use science conveniently when they wish.. Then they believe the doctors and scientist but as long as something works against their agenda then its a conspiracy so they aren't very consistent.
However this first wave of crypto people i'm going to call them that because a 10 year old system is very young and new to systems that have existed now over 4000 years. So this first wave of crypto people aren't consciously even aware of what to do with the tech so we have to go through another crypto age to get those people.. These people don't even understand why decentralized ai is needed and if they did they'd push for the projects in crypto that cover that .. They wouldn't be selecting these trivial like projects that only enforce the idea that we don't have any demonstrable significnt use cases in crypto. Most of the world is still walking around saying crypto has no use for them other than can i gamble and get rich like a penny stock or something. Most of the world can't even fathom or see what the space is talking about and again the space is propping up and selecting nft and defi like projects. .the problem with nft like ideas is most of the time they only benefit the creator of the nft and they have no real value. So what happens they don't work like velocity of money where you can move on and create more dollars they just are these bubble like bottomless pits and this is what crypto spends it time on.
We lack the mental aptitude to even understand this. If we do understand it its even worse it means we understand and we still are doing trivial nonsense. if we can't understand something as basic as the importance of decentralized ai and the importance of if you don't wanna call it ubi.. or basic income or guaranteed income. Call it a dividend its no different than if the system does tax all the land and all these corporate controlled robotic systems like Amazon that paid no taxes and is seemingly going to soon have a full robot workforce and army.. You can look at Amazon and driverless cars and drones.. and online transactions and see that is a model where absolutely there is no reason to have humans doing that in 5 or 10 years.. So why do they feel its a good idea not to tax Amazon. See this kinda mental illness we have in this space and out of this space is a huge problem.
The fact you seem like the only person in this entire community that speaks on it is a problem. Most people dismiss this as just a short read or somethign to do .. after that it means nothing they back to worried about coin pumps lol..
you have a guy in your thread saying the " earth is flat" if thats enough evidence for you. projects like my project and Singularity.net shoudl be number 1 on the crypto rankings..I doubt you can even find one in the top 100. it is sad and the silence is deafening from the community. We are idiots is what i think lol.
