illuvium land sale is a huge success

In one of my previous blog, I mention about the illuvium upcoming land sale. You can refer to my previous blog here:

Land sale is over and it is a huge success.

Why do I say so? Let's look at the data! Source illuvium has managed to sell all of its land in this wave. A total of 19,969 lands were sold during these 3 days. The amount that they manage to raise is close to $72mil!! All 12,003 tier 1 land were sold for $11.9mil All 5011 tier 2 land were sold for $13.4mil All 2087 tier 3 land were sold $18.15mil All 868 tier 4 land were sold for $28.7mil This is really an impressive feat. Previously, there are some concerns that all these huge numbers of land may not be sold and the price can varies a lot due to dutch auction, making early buyers unfavourable. This prove to be not the case. The team is reserving 29 lands for dev testing and giveaway. The last 2 is the tier 5 lands which will be using the traditional english auction which will be held at a later date.

I buy myself a tier 3 land!

I bought a plot that is located at brightland steppes with a coordinate location of 543,300. Because it is a tier 3, I got 9 elements sites and 6 fuel sites with a landmark boosting certain elements. The good thing is that I seems to have at 1 of each of the 3 variety of the elements and 1 of each of the 3 variety of the fuels. And my landmark Primeval Marsh seem to work well with my higher number of elements and potentially with my higher number of fuel.

Low Gas Fee

One of the huge disadvantage about selling on eth network is the huge gas war during sale. People are paying like thousand of dollars just for the gas fee for popular project sales. And this does not means you will be successful! So I am very impressive with how illuvium conduct the land sale over a time frame of 3 days with different plots waves distributed at each hour and the dutch auction makes the buyers to fomo less. For myself, I only spent like $8 for gas fee only and I have to say that this is one of the least gas fee I pay for sale.

Available Market Place

And the good thing is that the team had already built the marketplace for the land. So now you can sell the land. Beside the land sale, just click on trade. You can even filter which tier you want, and whether it is listed for sale or not. Currently, the base currency for the sale is in USDC.

As illuvium is working with IMX, you can also go to IMX to buy and sell the land too. Similarly, you can filter the tier of the lands here. You can even filter by the landmark or region so you can easier to find adjacant lands to merge them.
