SplinterDrop: My first ever max GFL
It has been almost an impossible dream for me to ever think of maxing GFL. Firstly, there are just so many things to buy. 2ndly, GFL is super expensive, the amt of $$ needed to max a gfl can be used to buy many max lv4 rf legendary.
However, thanks to the new rewards that one can get multiple copies, even possible for gfl.
12 Feb Chests opening
It was quite a good day when i opened a gold foil epic card(gfe). I am thinking to myself when is the last time i ever gotten a reward gfe. It seems to be at the mid of previous reward series and i rmb it is the Uareus. Little did i know that just 2 chests away, I still can get a gold foil legendary all within a day of chest opening. What is even more unbelieveable is that I actually have one shot got 3 copies of the gold foil legendary! Not one, not two but the max possible of 3 copies! You just need 4 bcx of gold foil legendary to max it. So basically i am just one copy away from maxing it!
Berix Snakeye
It is actually quite a good card. Something that people may miss out is that this dragon card actually have a low speed. Usually dragon deck is not so favourable during reverse speed as dragon generally have very high speed. It also have void armor so making its 6 shield can be very powerful as it can tank at least 2 magic attack. Weapon training can be quite powerful. The new soulbound reward cards have a set of attackless epic rewards which mostly are powerful with the tons of buff or debuff. Being dragon itself, Berix can pair with any color team. So generally, it can be quite a useful card and it will get stronger with more attackless cards release in the future.
10 Mar Chests opening: Another Jackpot
I am quite happy with 2 chao legion packs, especially it is now reaching the late phrase of sell out. I am shocked when i see the shaking chest and when the legendary card pop out and slowly turn to gold. As i try to calm myself down, you can see i get excited again when i start to look at the card a few time to make sure it is the same gfl that i previously have.
First ever maxing a Gold Foil Legendary
With the previous 3 copies of gold foil Berix, i just need 1 more to max it. So now i got 2 more copies. I just use 1 to merge with the previous copies to max it as shown in the picture above. MY FIRST EVER GFL! YEAH!~!!! And i still have 1 surplus GFL. I can only just keep it for now and see how things will become in the future. Who knows, maybe i can burn to get free 12.5k DEC!!
Bias RNG
Actually I did not get a lot of legendary from chests. So after 1 month+, you can see that in fact i only get less than half of the legendary reward card, dont even talk about leveling them up. So it is really bias drop for me to be able to get the same gfl twice within a short time. What is even more interesting is that I dont even have a copy of the regular foil of Berix.
Monitoring the print rate
I believe a lot of people wont think much as we all know that the print rate is insane for this new set of soulbound rewards. Still I am very grateful to be able to get gfl. But i also am mentally prepared that it may end up almost worthless. Given that Chao Legion has one of the largest print rate, we can see that with 8mil chao packs opened, we have about 20-30k copies for each particular legendary cards. Even if we look at the worst chao legion cards which is shown below, you can see that Iza, Grum or Lira cross 40k mark.
So let's just say about 4mil more packs can be opened, the total copies for 1 legendary can be as high as 60k copies.
New soulbound reward card print rate
So far, the new soulbound reward cards have been live for close to 3 seasons. That is like 1.5months. You can see that generally, 6k+ copies have already printed for each legendary reward card. So if we x8, 1.5mth x 8 = 12mth which is a year. 6.5k x 8 = 52k bcx. And do take note that with the new changes in the rating systems and energies, the print rate may even speed up so I wont be surprised if it can reach 100k bcx within a year. So dont expect any huge earnings but rather view it as building your deck. These new reward cards are meant to help you to have a higher chance to win great rewards like higher tier brawl or high leagues.
