Why is reading books a thing of the past?

It is very sad to look at the growing generation. Nobody reads books, the only thing that interests you is 15 second videos on tik tok and instagram, and you already on YouTube.

Growing up without literate children who have one answer for everything, why should I know if there is Google. And in truth, why?

Now, when communicating, people can no longer communicate gallantly and eloquently. All because they do not read, when we read we broaden our horizons and increase vocabulary, I generally keep quiet about literacy.

Still, in our time, there are bookworms. After all, before all the information was taken from books. What do you not know? went to the library to look for an answer. After all, the library is a sacred place where all the knowledge of the world is stored.

But let's try to look at all this from the good side. The current generation is much better at gadgets. I remember my first touchscreen phone appeared in the 9th grade. But I didn't even think about using it to look for answers to my questions.

Times are changing, but nothing can be done about it. Perhaps Neuralink will put chips in our heads so that we can get open access to Google. We’ll see, but for now I’ll go and read a book, Greenlights by Matthew, McConaughey.
