Sneak Peek: CLP - Chaos Legion Promo Packs are Live!

This is sort of a pre-announcement. I'll do videos and stuff later.

As you probably know, Splinterlands is having an end of year promo sale. Like we did with XCHAOS, we are doing a tokenized pool so that everyone can join in.

Each CLP cost 2700 DEC. You don't need any vouchers, we've built that in already.

Simple steps:

  1. Have DEC in your hive-engine wallet
  2. Go to https://splinter.fi/clp and log in with keychain
  3. Click Buy CLP
  4. Pick number of tokens you want to buy (2700 each)
  5. Click Buy CLP
  6. Confirm transaction in keychain

That's it.

Ways this is different than other pools:

  • No minimum purchase. Buy as many or as few as you want. Most (all?) other pools require large purchases which are not very minnow friendly. All you need for CLP is 2700 DEC or more.
  • Auto-distribution of airdrop values. These packs are regular packs so they will be eligible for summoner airdrops. Since cards are not divisible, when we get the airdrops we sell them to the marketplace and distribute the DEC proceeds proportionally. This is the same mechanism we have used for XCHAOS and it has worked very well.
  • Runi distribution: like the airdrops, Runi are not divisible. I think we will take a vote on what to do with these, whether they are worth selling or keeping for future value.
  • Auto-refunds. If we don't reach the minimum thresholds we need all refunds will be sent automatically.

More coming later with explainer videos, but this is available now and the sooner we get up to the bulk thresholds the better.
