I am part of the ONEUP Community and bought my first CARTEL tokens
It is now a bit more than a month ago since I joined the 1UP Discord / Community. The ONEUP Community is focussed on Blockchain Gaming on HIVE and trying to expand to other Blockchains as well. In the Discord are Channels for each relevant Blockchain and open for discussion of proven and upcoming projects.
During that time I have bought a bunch of the ONEUP community token and I am adding them to the different ONEUP Liquidity Pools with current APR between 140% and 440%. The APR changes according to the token prices, but since I have started they were all around that APR range.
At the moment are 3 ONEUP Liquidity Pools available. They have a total Pool value of 24,844 HIVE and all of them have ONEUP token (and some other tokens) as rewards.
The project has grown so much during that short time and I look forward to the upcoming projects with enthusiasm.
- Start of the @oneup-curator: a curation service for ONEUP tokens like the @monster-curator for #spt and Splinterlands content.
- They are working together with @nftstudios to launch a new Blockchain Game "Chifibots"
- Working and progress on different projects like the improvement of the 1Up.zone frontend and a lot more like the huge project below.
In the 1Up Community we were waiting for a big announcement that should come soon and then @flauwy announced the 1UP-Cartel what will be an Investment Cartel for Blockchain Games, Curation rewards and promising NFT projects like HIVE-Punks. I am very interested in that project and I have read the post several times into all details.
There will be a total amount of 75,000 CARTEL Tokens and in the first step 25,000 CARTEL will be sold for a fixed amount of 10 USD. They will be sold over the counter to avoid high price fluctuations of HIVE on the market. So everyone pays the same price per CARTEL.
This over the counter sell is without contract and I have bought my first 10 CARTEL by sending to the @oneup-cartel account and received the tokens within a day. (They are distributed manually, so it can take some time.)
If you wanna be a friend of the cartel, then you can follow the instructions below and get your own CARTEL tokens:
Send any amount of HBD, SWAP.HBD or SWAP.BUSD dividable by 10 to @oneup-cartel.
You will receive your CARTEL tokens usually within 24 hours. This is done 100% manually because we cannot sell tokens on the Hive-Engine market for a USD pegged price.
Don't send any amount to us that is not dividable by ten, as this would just create an unnecessary effort for us. Only send amounts of 10/20/30...100/200...1000/1110.
You can also send HIVE or SWAP.HIVE but you risk price losses and swapping fees.
There are also some CARTEL tokens listed at the marketplace, but they are bit more expensive than the the direct distribution mentioned above. This is to secure the 10USD value even if the HIVE price drops.
As you can see the CARTEL tokens can already be purchased and sold on HIVE Engine like any other HIVE token.
As you can see in the token description there is a total supply of 75,000 and at the moment are 931 CARTEL minted and circulating.
Somone might be confused why the token name is "Praetoria Cartel" and not "ONEUP Cartel".
The token name is "Praetoria Cartel" because the token was already created some time ago for the purpose of Splinterlands Land expansion but then was delayed because the land sold out.
The same token will now be used for the CARTEL purpose and a renaming-process isn't that easy, so it might be that this will be forever.

After 4 Days 745 CARTEL tokens were sold.
44 different accounts have purchased and joined the CARTEL.
Most of the current Liquidity is hold in stablecoins to keep the value and don't risk any price drops until the next investment.
The upcoming Chaos Legion General Sale in @splinterlands is coming on January 17th and that is one day after the end of the 30 day CARTEL sale period. One of the future goals of the CARTEL is to invest in Splinterlands to set up different accounts to play in Silver / Gold League. Next to this the cooperation in the development with NFTstudios for the Chifibots game. I am really looking forward to both of the games and I explore a lot of new games in the 1UP Discord.

Further, we will add at exposure to all HIVE games and have at least one account for each of them, that grinds out their maximum potential with our assets in them. To kickstart that, I am personally handing over ALL MY ASSETS from dCity, Hashkings, Exode and Rising Star** to the cartel treasury for about 50% of their current market value, paid in CARTEL. We also might accept assets from you on an individual basis in exchange for CARTEL, but only for a massive discount and only for certain games. We will never buy assets at or close to market value from you!
This will provide the CARTEL some necessary assets to start play to earn in different HIVE Games. Next to the funded Liquidity of the token sale will be invested.
TOKENOMICS
In 3 weeks the rewards of the ONEUP:SPT and ONEUP:SWAP.HIVE pool with the current contract will end and new rewards will be defined. They might be a lot lower than now, what will dry up the inflation and in addition to this the @curation-cartel will start to invest a small amount of the operation fee earnings into ONEUP to provide liquidity to the existin LP or new ones like ONEUP:LEO. The amount will be blacklisted for the rewards, and won't lower the rewards of all others.
With the lowering of the inflation and the upcoming investing of the curations-cartel I am sure this will end in rising token prices.
Depending on the future rewards of the LP I have to revaluate if I will keep providing liquidity for rewards or strengthen the @oneup-curator by staking and delegating for passive income.
At the moment my APR from curation service is 120%, but I have delegated only a small amount of tokens.
During the first sale period of CARTEL the price will be fixed at 10 USD, but as soon as the sale ends on January 16th (or when 25,000 tokens are sold) there will be a free market for the next time. It's not guaranteed that you will be able to join the CARTEL and if you find a seller it might be at a much higher price than now. The next CARTEL tokens will be sold at a higher price than the first sale. The maximum amount of the first distribution will be 33% of the total supply and with 745 CARTEL sold 3% of this tokens are already distributed.
I also like the voting system that will be between 1-5 vote value depending on the CARTEL holdings. This protects the CARTEL to be taken over by one of few whales and also gives the smaller investors vote value. Most of the decision won't be up for voting and will be decided by the CARTEL founders. I am fine with that, because if you have to vote every decision it slows down the whole process and everyone know how fast things are changing in crypto space.
At the moment I own 10 CARTEL but I will pick up more during the next time, because I believe in flauwy, the ONEUP Community and the CARTEL. I will support as much as I can and want to help to make this community and CARTEL big! His curation-cartel is already a well-known curation service and now provides curation services for a lot of community tokens and I am sure that ONEUP and CARTEL will perform well in the longterm.
