SoMee to launch tokens on the Hive Blockchain.

The HIve eco-system just keeps growing and growing. I signed up for the SoMee.beta site a while back as they had been making some decent noise about a new form of social media. One where the creators will earn revenue and they have gotten some impressive partners to go with the project already.


The real selling point for me was when they said that they would be partnering with Hive and allowing for hive cross-posting to their site and monetary rewards for the content.

A site that would allow you to cross post hive blogs and earn from advertising revenue was always one that I was going to be interested in. It's the model that I have been looking for with a long time and that @leofinance have used to launch their own eco-system.

What is the point of having all of this data and content if we don't use it to enhance the experience and the product. It only becomes wasted time and on SoMee I expect the content to be evergreen as it will be based on views not votes.


It gets better


So the project is in building mode at the moment but they are ramping up the development right now as they are getting nearer to the end product. With a team of 20 devs they have been putting this together for over a year which for me bodes well. They are taking the time to build and release a better product rather than a quick build which fails to deliver.

Even better, they are launching a token on the hive blockchain as well as tie into Cardano which is a very popular chain at the moment.

Now that you know that our rewards token will be HIVE-based. You now have the full picture of our platform with the exception of the DEFI side. The DEFI side will tie into staking and locking up assets on side chains, and the points system. But is not required to use SoMee.

How will it all work together?


Honestly, I have no clue what the finished product will look like as they are only launching now and have along way to go yet. It does all sound brilliant for the hive eco-system and should bring a lot of new users in as well as allow exisitng users to earn more form their posts through ad revenue and token on the SoMee site.

I will be trying it out and from the beta site which I have joined a while back think that it gives off a great feel and a UI which can match up to traditional web2 sites.

I'm looking forward to this one.
