Unfortunately that wasn't our reward for competing in the last brawl worth $25.50 but a screenshot from mavs chat and a top performing guild. It could be though, in time.

At the moment we have a guild ranked at 90 in the game and play at tier two for brawls.

In tier 1 there are 476 teams playing for 868 SPS. Tier 2 has 242 playing for 2500 SPS.

If you move up to tier 3 there is 76 teams playing for 10,416 SPS.

And at tier 4 it's 7 teams splitting 72,917 SPS.

Time to move upwards maybe and get a bigger payout.

That all depends on the guild that you are in and the quality of player that you have.

We are always happy to accept suitable new players to our guild "Dark Assassins",

There are three spaces there at the moment and if we filled them it might be a good time to move up another level in the brawls and earn even more SPS every time.

In our last match we came third.

The guild has won spoils of 37 Crowns in the latest brawl! Also, each fully participating member was awarded 1,850 Merits and 17.056 staked SPS.

This has been an update to the game that we have been waiting on for a long time so it's great to see it going live and should generate a lot of renewed interest in guilds and brawls going forward.

Splinterlands is still building.

I think that most of us have seen the statement from the splinterlands team this week and realize that times could get very tough depending on how long the bear market lasts.

Like many web3 projects, they have a lot of their bankroll in different cryptocurrencies which means that when the market stank like they have done this week that it puts the whole company at risk.

Over time this should play into their hands as crypto goes up in value and sustain growth over a lot of years but sometimes hard choices need to be made.

Better to tighten the belt now and focus on delivering a great experience while the markets are down and survive until better times than to try and keep doing too much and lose it all.

The team is still building and this might actually help to focus the narrative after the seem to have spread themselves too thin over the past year. The impressive growth at the start of the year seems to have changed their perspective and not entirely for the better.

The original success of the game was built on delivering a great experience on a small budget with passionate team members. I really feel that they ha lost sight of this and branched into unnecessary areas which took away from the work that needed to be done.

I'm still going to be here one way or the other until we get rich or burn it all down to the ground. That's half the fun.

Until then brawls are a great way to add to my own bankroll while the markets are down.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

Cards worth a few cents now will have a much higher value in the future as the print runs out. We have a strong community and seen this happen every time as it grows with the game.
